Ariana smiled as she came downstairs and watched Tom sleep for a few seconds, she almost laughed as she saw him in a different position from last time, suggesting he turned in his sleep.
"Tommo boy," Ariana hit him over the head with a cushion, "Rise and shine."
There was no reply. No movement. Nothing.
She creased her eyebrows, was he pretending? "Come on, Holland! Rise and..."
The thoughts in her head stopped and she felt her heart sink as she came closer, seeing the bottle of empty vodka on the floor.
She turned over to see the same on the table in the corner and on top of the mini-fridge.
"Tom!" Ariana climbed on top of him, shaking his shoulders, "Wake up..."
She tried everything she could, slapping him and yelling his name. She only hoped that he was still alive as she could still hear him breathing...
The only movement he made was violent shaking, she could see his mouth had vomit inside and she tried to turn him over.
"Fuck," Ariana struggled to flip him as she dug out his phone from his back pocket, her heartbeat was fast as she dialled 911, "H-Hello, I need help. Right away my...friend is passed out. He's overdosed I think, on alcohol. He's still breathing but he's unconscious..."
