"Hey," Ariana's smile was wide as she caught the sight of Tom Holland, pacing towards her with equally excited speed.
"Hey, darling-" Tom was interrupted as Ariana jumped into his arms, "Excited to see me?"
"Shut up..." Ariana chuckled, burying her face in his neck, "I didn't fly out here for nothing."
"I know," Tom kissed her cheek, "Thank you so much, you didn't have to." He dropped her safety to her feet.
"It was nothing," Ariana said, "I just really wanted to see you."
Ariana had flown out to check up on Tom just before the start of the North American leg of her tour.
"Are you?" Tom asked, "Or are you just excited to meet Jake."
"Both," Ariana leant into his ear, trying to hide what she was about to say from their colleagues around them, even though most them already knew, "Are you doing better with...everything?"
"I told you I was fine, love," Tom smiled, he looked down, grabbing a hold of her hands, "And I am, I really am."
"You're incredible," Ariana said, "You've picked yourself up and worked so hard to get back to normal and I'm just..I'm just really proud of you."
"Ah, Grande..." Tom scoffed, "Don't make me cry."
"Aww," Ariana took him into another hug, taking in his scent, making sure they were held together long enough to remember exactly how it felt.
"Look at you two lovebirds," Jake Gyllenhaal's voice crept up behind them, "I don't care if you're famous, get your talented hands off my husband."
Ariana laughed, "It's Jake! Oh my god, hey. I've been waiting to meet you." Ariana throw her hands out, ready to except him in a companionable hug.
"Honestly, so have I," Jake accepted the embrace, "Thank you so much for taking care of him."
"It's no problem, Tom is like a..." Ariana didn't know what they were, "Uh..." She looked at Tom for help.
"Fuck buddy," He responded and Ariana hit him on the arm. Jake simply laughed at them.
"Are you still doing this?"
"Absolutely," Tom smirked, "You know...I did say that you would meet Jake when you were my girlfriend."
"So..." Ariana felt her heart skip a beat, pausing the way it was pounding in her chest, "Does that mean we're...dating now?"
"Your call," Tom's eyes glinted with playfulness as he watched Ariana struggle with a decision.
"I'll have to think about it."
