Ariana released Scooter from her tight hug, "I'll see you in a minute."
"Yeah, get ready to get on stage in about 20 minutes!" Scooter yelled after her, "Don't be late!"
"I won't!" Ariana shouted back as she walked in further backstage, heading towards her dressing room.
It was about a month into her tour, Tom and Zendaya had finally agreed to come to one of her shows after their conflicting schedules aligned.
She knew from their conversations that Zendaya was busy shooting a new show for HBO and Tom hadn't mentioned what too specifically but she knew he had worked on a couple of photo shoots.
But wasn't getting involved into any more movies just yet as Spider-Man was still working out great for him. However, she had her suspicions...
Her show was conveniently in England, in Manchester. She had had a show earlier that month and all Tom had to do was travel a few hours but he had only agreed to come with Zendaya.
Something about her wanting to meet her. Ariana was actually quite excited to meet Zendaya too.
"Oh my god, hi!" Ariana ran to hug the British boy, not having to raise her arms as she was in heels and grasping around him tightly.
She detached off of him and gave a similar warm hug to Zendaya, who gave Tom a look that said 'That was a more than a friendship hug she gave you.' And he gave her another that said, 'Shut up.'
"You are gorgeous," Zendaya said, holding her hands out to see her outfit.
"Thank you, so are you,"Ariana smiled, "And thank you for coming. I am a fan, I love you."
"It's no problem," Zendaya gushed, "And, oh my god. I am the biggest fan too."
Ariana gave her another hug before turning to Tom again, "Seriously, thanks for coming."
Tom placed a hand on her shoulder, "It's my pleasure."
Ariana noticed Tom was then looking down at the arm he touched.
"Is that Chihiro?" Tom held out her lower arm, admiring the ink, "That's sick!"
Ariana smiled and nodded, "Yes. You've seen Spirited Away?"
"Yeah, actually my friend Jacob showed it to me," Tom said, "And it's like one of my favourite movies now."
"Same," Ariana said, taking hold of his hands, "Chihiro is an icon."
