Ariana cancelled the show that she still had in Birmingham that day to be with Tom and his brother, Sam.
Harry had stayed behind to stay with Paddy and stop him from worrying about what was happening to Tom.
The ambulance had managed to come in time after a kind lady had calmly explained to Ariana what to do.
She almost thought she had lost Tom for a moment, after she had just started to get to know him.
She turned to Sam after the doctor had finished consolidating with him, "Is everything okay?"
"It will be," Sam sighed, his eyes were red from crying, "Tom hasn't gone this close to the edge in a long time."
"This has happened before?" Ariana wouldn't have known, she had met him in a bar - alone - bit she hadn't suspected anything of it. She had only assumed that he was meeting a friend...
"Yes," Sam said, he was slightly confused, "Has Tom not told you?"
"Told me?" Ariana shook her head, "He didn't..."
"Tom's been struggling with alcohol for a while," Sam explained, "We think he might have a serious problem..."
Ariana's ears were ringing, what? However disappointed she was, she wasn't surprised. Tom had drank copious, unhealthy amounts of alcohol.
"Is he okay?" Ariana asked, she starting to fiddle with her long nails before looking over at Sam's face, he looked like he was about to burst into tears, "S..."
She embraced him into a tight hug, "It's okay, he'll be fine."
Honestly, Ariana wasn't even sure, she had fought the urge to burst into tears with him, she didn't want him thinking that all was lost.

Ariana approached the bed Tom was lying in slowly, she didn't want to take any of Sam's time with him.
"Yes, I'm fine..." Tom's voice was practically a whisper as he spoke to his younger brother, "It was a one time thing."
"It's not a one time thing," Sam rolled his eyes, "This has been going on for months, Tom. You could have died for fu..."
"Grande," Tom looked over to Ariana, who was trying to mind her own business on her phone while they argued, "Get over here..."
