Skylox - Chapter 3

POV: Ty

I was browsing tumblr on my phone when I heard a tap on my window. I opened the window and watched as the red-headed girls climb through the small space, standing in their signature position.

"What the fuck? I thought you only went to Adam's house."

"Nope," Lizzy said, grinning like a maniac. "We come here too now."

"For maximum effect," Ja added. "And by the way, Merome says hi and Jerome says 'Come to the dark side, we have cool glasses.'"

I laughed and said, "Well you tell Jerome to come to the Ty side, cause we have cool headphones."

They grinned at me and Lizzy offered me a cookie. I accepted it, no longer fearing the concoction.

"So, why are you visiting?" I asked.

"To check up on your feelings, specifically towards Adam," Ja said, handing me a mini-umbrella. "So spill."

"Okay, as long a- Oh god, I'm turning to a pair of crazy red-headed pre-teens about my gay lovelife," I blurted. "What am I even doing?"

"So you admit you do have a gay love life?" Lizzie said,smirking and handing me more cookies.

"Okay, yes, yes I do have one. I just don't know what it involves! I don't even know why I think I'm gay to be honest! I've had girlfriends, of course, I just don't, they just, they don't,"

"Shh," Ja calmed me, giving me a dented tin can. "Have some rain water, it's super pure." She put a straw in the small hole that was punctured in the top and put her hand on my shoulder.

I drank the water, having trusted the girls for what felt like forever now. "Wow, you're right," I said, "I think water is better without concentration."

They nodded. "We get what you're saying, Ty," Lizzie said. "We get that you love Adam, too. You just don't see it yet."

I nodded and messed with my bangs, flinging them out of my face multiple times.

"Oh my god, why am I doing this?! Freaking out about my personal problems to some twelve-year-old girls who climb in through my window. I'm so weird," I uttered, putting the can of water down.

"Well, we'll get going then," Ja said, taking her can back. "Water drop queen, over and out!"

"Eat cookies, be happy, bitchatchos!" Lizzie called as she jumped out the window with Ja. "We have some Setosolace to attend to!"

I checked the clock and found that it was 9:00pm. I plopped into my bed and fell asleep, thinking of the psychos who climb through my window.

The next day, I woke up and wrote a novel; Called "The Red-Heads Behind My Window Pane".
