We need to talk to Luna about the bunker, Clarke.
— Lexa.
It isn't necessary. Also, remember to get rid of the notes next time. We don't need anyone seeing them.
— Clarke.
If I get rid of it, how will you read it?
— Lexa.
Just wipe it all out. Erase all of it after you've read what I've written. And put it in our room next time; the only person that might walk into it is Madi.
— Clarke.
You're still not answering my question, Clarke. Additionally; I have taken the liberty of placing it outside on the front door—you may find it easier to access after your hunts.
— Lexa.
I've said it before—it isn't necessary to tell her. Also... please just don't do that next time. I had to explain to Madi what you were talking about and fib an excuse to Luna.
— Clarke.
It's necessary, especially when it regards so many people. Especially those whom she contempts. I have taken the liberty of getting rid of the rest of the notes if that reassures you some. However, you will still find this on the front door, for it is easier than having to return to our room every time merely to place a note whenever I wish to conserve.
— Lexa.
Let's just have this conversation in private. Luna just almost read this. Had narrowly avoided that by pointing out that Madi was playing with her trebuchet. She left pretty quickly after that. Need to find a time and place when she's gone and it's only us left in here.
— Clarke.
Am tired of searching through drawers for your response. We still need to talk about Luna. I also insist we must speak to her about it.
— Lexa.
You may talk to me without conserving in your notes.
— Luna.
...
"So," Luna said, her lips quirking with rue, as she looked from Clarke to Lexa. ''What is it you wish to speak with me about?''
They shared a look as if they were undergoing a silent exchange. She felt slight curiosity at this; though Clarke and Lexa did do that look a lot, a talk without words but their emotions, it was usually never to Luna herself and had usually when it regarded Madi. Her brow furrowed at this, for though Madi was here, it was certain that their statement was directed at her.
''I'm not a child,'' Luna finally said, teasingly, as if to break the silence; but if anything, the tension had seemed to intensify so. And it was Lexa that spoke first, a long moment after Luna had said her words.
''There is a bunker...'' Lexa cleared her throat, looking at her in the eyes. ''Underground. 1200 people are in it.''
What?
Luna didn't speak but turned her head to meet Lexa's. She narrowed her eyes; worked her jaw, as her mind ran through the possibilities. Finally, realisation seemed to overcome her features, as she took all three of them in a whole.
