Chapter 14

Marius pov

We pulled up to our home. My in-laws were standing outside with a worried look. My wife and I got out the car quickly.

"Mom what happened?" Ella asked

"She's missing. She said she was going to take a nap and we went to make sure she was fine and she's nowhere in her room.

"Ok, maybe she has her phone," Ella said

"Lets go check," I said

We ransacked her room. So we did find her phone and Ella started to panic.

"What if she's back in one of her visions?" Ella questioned

"She's not. I can still feel her. But her energy is a bit low," Paula said her eyes focusing her energy.

No ones  pov

"Good to be working with you," David said walking with a tall man with dark short hair and dark eyes.

"No problem. Lucky I have been around for centuries and I don't mind helping around," The man spoke

"Great now two days from now we are having a ball for Mels birthday," David said

The man wanted revenge. He wanted to get back at Selene and Michael all those years ago. Now he was so close. Kraven is his name. Now all he needed to do was wait.

Lucian pov

It was still night time and I stared back at the clock and it read 11:08. I kept driving and often glanced back at my niece. Then eventually I was driving on the ground until made a few turns. I looked over at my niece again. Her eyes began to open.

"How long was I out?" Melody asked

"Three hours," I said and stopped right in front of the castle.

I stepped out and Melody did as well. And we walked side by side. The door opened and out came Marius and Ella. Then two other people I never met came out.

"Hi mommy. Hey dad," Melody said

"Melody you realized how worried we are! You can just disappear!" Ella fused as she held Melody tight.

"Can't.....breath," Melody huffed

"Lucian. Is it truly you?" Marius asked walking up

"In the flesh cousin," I said with a smile and playfully opened my arms.

Marius sometimes showed emotion. He got closer and gave me the tightest hug and I felt him cry a bit.

"I'm so happy. You're here. It's been hell everywhere since you've been gone," Marius said

"Let's go home," Ella said as we walked inside the castle.

David's pov

"How's everything going?" Eve asked

"Eve, I promise everything for Melodys will be perfectly fine," I said reassuring

"I know I'm just nervous. This is pretty big for her. I want it to be special," Eve said

"I made sure that the caters are good," Selene said

"Her mom is making sure there is drinks. Marius gave me the dress to hold," Michael said

"They coming tomorrow so Melody doesn't suspect anything," Selene said

We separated and I got pulled aside by Selene and Michael.

"Kraven is here?!" Selene almost shouted a bit

"Yes. Is something wrong?" I asked

"He's bad news David. Really bad news," Michael said
