Chapter 20

No ones pov

"Mom it's been a month. Can I go venture out and look around the towns nearby?" Melody asked

"Cmon I'll show you around," Ella said as they walked out

It was the country side and it was beautiful. Melody stared up as they walked down the continuous stair case going down.

"There's a big market in town and they have beautiful clothing and other things," Ella said

It was colorful. Music played and people walked by holding a goat or a cattle. Some still in horses and walking by holding jewelry.  They stopped in front of food stand. A familiar energy caught Melody and turned around but didn't see.

"Mom can I have some money to get a necklace?" Melody asked

"Here," Ella said handing her some coins

Melody walked across the road and stared up at the necklaces. Suddenly, she felt someone staring at her from a distance and turned around. No one was there. How odd.

There he stood just staring at her. Something pulled him here but when he saw her he just knew who she was. Not doubt by her features.

"That one," Melody said in Romanian pointing at a red necklace.

"Melody-" Ella said but froze someone was watching and she turned the direction and it left.

"Yes mom," Melody said

"Let's go," Ella said as they walked home. The figure followed them until they were walking up the stairs.

"Someone's following," Melody whispered

Ella grabbed her hand and Melody teleported then back inside the castle. The man walked to the front door and gave a heavy knock. The door opened and in walked in Saul.

"I'm going kick your ass!" Ella shouted and from the top Vlad and Paula stared in shock while Vlad smiled rushing down the stairs.

But by the time he was downstairs Ella was beating Saul. In the mist Vlad trying to get her off and him laughing in the mix.

"Just like old times," Paula commented next to Melody

"6000 years and all of a sudden you come back?" Ella growled

"Well, I was thinking of coming back. But I got caught up with things and found my path," Saul said

"How did you know to come back after the war here?" Ella questioned

"Her," Saul said pointing at Melody

"We separated because dads bloodline might've not survived as long as it did. But she was hope therefore I came back," Saul said

"Glad to have you back son," Vlad said

"So I related to Slash?! A dream!"Melody shouted

"He's my twin Melody," Ella said which left Melody in shock.

Back at the coven Kraven told Marius if he didn't have Melody then no supplies will be dropped off. So it piled up to encourage him to search in depth. Lucian on the other was fully against the idea and tried to reason with his cousin but instead stayed behind to take care of personal business.

Two weeks later

Ella and Melody went back to the other coven. But only for a few days. Ella went to Selene to see the baby.

"Where's David?" Melody asked Thomas

"In a meeting," Thomas said and watching Melody sit by the staircase waiting.
