Turns out, Scott and Lois hadn't needed to explain.
The girl, although afraid, had listened to their demands for her to get out of the woods and to safety. She had nodded rapidly and wiped her tears, and soon enough Scott and Lois had made for the same direction as the other three werewolves.
Scott wasn't very impressed that Lois had come along with Isaac to help in preventing the wild wolves from killing innocent people, including him and Derek, but he had been impressed that her aim was almost perfect. He knew that she was pretty good with her arrows now, but he hadn't expected her to shoot Cora twice, and hardly bat an eyelid. It was pretty badass, and that had made her smile with pride.
On the other hand, Derek had been quite glad to see his beta, Isaac Lahey, and Lois Lane. Despite his irritation with the general situation, and the fact that Lois had shot arrows at his sister, the sour wolf seemed happy for the back up. Not that Scott wasn't at all happy — rather, he was concerned for Lois' wellbeing. She was a human, after all. Lois couldn't do what they could, and she had far less of a chance of fighting Boyd and Cora off if they were to get her pinned. Her arrows were useful and she was very good with them, but that didn't make her invincible. Scott only had her safety in mind; he didn't want her to get hurt. Derek seemed too preoccupied to worry about that, right now. Lois didn't mind.
They had lost track of Cora, pretty quickly. It had only taken a few twists and turns, and then she was gone. Out of sight.
