I stayed at the hospital for a few days while Seth recovered, Linda brought me some clothes and hygiene necessities. Seth was in a deep sleep when I woke up, so I got up and took a shower and brushed my teeth. I came out to see a nurse coming in to check his vitals and make sure everything was still running smoothly.
"Hi, I'm nurse Kathy Romero, you are a very brave young woman." She says when she looks over to me.
"Thank you, do all of the nurses and doctors know about this?" I asked.
"Only the ones that have been treating you two, speaking of I need to do a follow up check for you, and we get the results from the lab from your swab today at 2:30 pm."
"Well that was a mouth full. Check me all you need, I just want some asprin, water, a burger and my mom and brother." I said sitting in the chair.
I went through her series of questions. Afterwards she brought me my food and other things that I requested. Around 1 I heard Logan walk into the room.
"Hey sis." He said coming over to hug me. I flinched and pulled back at first but hugged him.
"Hey." I said feeling tears swell in my eyes again.
"How have you been?" He asked sitting down next to me.
"Honestly not okay, when I go to sleep I have nightmares about that night and I just can't seem to get the feeling of them off of and out of me..." I said with tears running down my eyes.
"I'm gonna talk to some people and find someone to take you to so you can take the right steps and get back to being normal." He said holding me close to him.
"That's the thing...I feel like I'm never going to be normal again." I said wiping my tears again.
"I'll make sure those bastards pay. I swear it." He said with a shaky voice.
"Hey now, I can't have my former patient crying." Dr. Wooldridge says as she walks in.
"I know I'm sorry." I said wiping away the tears once more.
"Hey Ms. Selenas room is still open if you need to go talk to her sweetie."
"I just might have to do that if I'm being completely honest."
"Do what you need to while you're here." She said patting me on the back. I walked out of the room and headed to Mrs. Selena to talk with her some more.
*Logan's POV*
"Is my sister going to be okay Dr. Wooldridge."
"Eventually but something that serious is hard to get away from, I'm going to say keep her in therapy for now and ease her back into school."
"What ever it takes for her to be back to my little sister again, that's not her..that's a shadow of her." I said looking down. "Is that why there are all of these female nurses and doctors?" I asked
"You are correct, I experienced something similar around her age and I punched almost every male doctor that came near me, so I think maybe this is something that will help. If you noticed she flinched and pulled away from you when you leaned over her. That was her having a panic moment, she thought you were her attacker again and almost reacted in a defensive way. Again I think it's best for her to ease her way back into her normal life style. I've kept an eye on all of the people who come to visit and it seems she is well loved by the varsity football players and well protected by them as well." She said pointing to Seth who was still asleep and then me.
"That she is." I said smiling.
"I'll be back in 30 minutes or so with the results from her swab, I'm absolutely positive they have confirmed it was his sperm, they found skin under her nails from two other boys. What happened to her was horrible, let her talk about it on her own time and please, please, please watch over her." She said and then walked out the door.
