I wake up the next morning to the sound of my alarm going off. I roll over and hit the button to stop it. I stretch for a minute and sit there staring off at my wall, the sun shines into my room and I smile to see that it's a pretty morning.

*Knock Knock*

"Hey, are you awake?" I hear Logan say through the door.

"Yeah." I say yawning.

"Are you coming to school today?" He asks.

"Yeah." I say standing up and walking to the door to open it.

"Hey there." I hear him say sounding a little happier.

"Hello there." I say giving him a hug. "Can we go get food before we go to school?" I ask.

"Only if you can get ready in the next 3 minutes." I hear him say as he looks at his watch.

I slam the door shut and run to my closet.

"Oww." I hear him say.

"Sorry I have to hurry." I say laughing to myself for a moment. I run around my room picking out my shoes, earrings, necklace, and outfit.

I finally run downstairs wearing light blue ripped jeans, a dark maroon colored sweater, white studs, and white necklace and bracelet to match and a pair of white converse.

"Let's go!" I shout.

"Is that my dearest daughter finally leaving her dungeon?" I hear Linda say.

"It is!" I say running over to hug her before Logan and I leave.

"I need you to be home around 3:30 pm today okay?" She says as she pulls away from me.

"Okay what for?" I ask.

"I talk to your lawyers today about that court case. They'll have your dates of when to meet up and give you information, they're going to ask you a lot of personal questions as well, so be prepared."

"Okay. I love you." I say

"I love you too. Have a good day sweetheart, the both of you." She says. Logan gives her a hug and we race to his car. I look down the road to see Seth's car still parked in his driveway. As we drive by I see him and Ryan walk out of their house.

*Ding*

Seth: I see you're finally out :)

I read his message and respond quickly and then scroll down through more of my notifications.

Jason: Hey, I'm sorry I had to leave last night, I didn't bring any clothes for myself over. I'll see you in class tomorrow.

I feel my cheeks start to get red as the images of last night come back to me. I lay my head on the window.

"Everything okay?" I hear Logan ask.

"Just fine." I say smiling.

We finally get to the diner. We walk in, sit down, and order our food to-go.

"So, how has life been on the outside?" I ask taking a drink of half and half tea.

"It's been a little crazy, traffic is wild, but I did get a date with Skye." Logan says

"You did what?!" I say raising my voice in excitement. "Why didn't you tell me?" I ask.

"Well you, you weren't exactly in a great mood to hear about it. I didn't want to bother you about it until I saw you were a little happier and you seem a lot happier today." He says smiling.
