*A weeks passes*

"Good morning Mrs. June." I say walking into first period.

"Good morning Ms. Jackson." She says looking up from a large stack of papers smiling at me. "How have you been?" She asks.

"Good and bad." I say putting my things down at my desk.

"Why is that?" She asks.

"Well, I know a lot of people don't read papers anymore but the story about what happened to me has been put in one of the articles." I say looking down.

"I do, and I read about it. The only reason it hit the papers was because that boy lost all of his scholarships and mommy and daddy can't handle the fact that their son is a rapist." She says slamming her pen down. I look over at her shocked for a moment.

"I'm sorry for my strong opinion there, but for people to question for a single moment that he didn't do something like that to you when there is evidence of his DNA, it's all wrong." She says.

"You're completely right, their different charges aren't fair, but this just goes to show the power money has over people. The rest of those boys are gonna be in there for a while." I say.

"You're right there." Mrs. June says looking back at her stack of papers taking a deep breath. "They deserve to stay in there too." She says.

*Buzz*

I reach for my phone in my bag.

Seth: I see you.

I reread the text and then look up to see him standing in the doorway. I get up from the desk and walk over to hug him.

"Good morning." He says hugging me back.

"Good morning." I say, we walk out of the room and down the hall.

"How did you sleep?" I ask looking up at him.

"Not too bad, what about you?" He asks.

"Ehh I still feel a little on edge but other than that not too bad." I say.

"I have a question." He says.

"I have an answer." I say

"So we're friends." He says sounding a little nervous.

"Yeah." I say laughing a little.

"Well.." He says stopping at the end of the hallway. I stop with him and look at him a little confused.

"Well?" I say

"What are you doing on Friday?" He asks.

"Well what's today?" I ask.

"Wednesday." He says.

"So Friday.." I say looking around for a moment. "I am doing something Friday." I say feeling a little bummed.

"What is it?" He asks.

"I have a date." I say smiling.

"You have a what?" He says

"A date." I say again, "You sound a little too shocked at that one." I say

"With who?" He says sounding disappointed.

"You." I say smiling.

"Well that's stu-" He stops for a moment and realizes what I said I laugh at him. "That was evil." He says hitting my shoulder.

"That was funny." I say hitting him back.

"No it wasn't." He says starting to pout.

"I'm sorry." I say hugging him, he hugs me back and we stay there for a moment. I pull away and look up at him.
