I wake up to the sound of Seth's voice, I roll over to see that he's not in my room and then look over to see that my door is open. I get up and walk down the hallway to the bathroom. I fix my hair and wipe my face off a little bit and finally walk downstairs.

"Yeah but that was never my intention with her. I never wanted to hurt her from the start." Seth says.

"But you did, along with yourself. You two aren't good for each other right now. Some time in the future maybe but as of right now I can't let you see her anymore." Linda says.

"Alright." I hear Seth say, I see him walking for the front door.

"Hey where are you going?" I ask walking over to him. He looks at me and then Linda. I look at him a little confused.

"I have to.." He clears his throat. "I have a few things I have to do before Ryan gets home so I'll text you later okay?" He says

"Okay." I say giving him a hug. I watch him walk out to his car and race down the road.

I walk into the kitchen to see Linda washing some dishes.

"What was that about?" I ask.

"What was what about?" She asks.

"Umm I heard you and Seth talking a little before I came in." I say walking to the refrigerator.

"Mhmm." She says turning off the water and drying her hands. "Come sit with me." She says.

"Okay." I say walking over to the table and sitting.

"You haven't been yourself lately and I completely understand why considering the events that have happened over the past few weeks but Keisha..I'm not gonna sit here and watch my daughter deteriorate knowing that I can stop it before something happens."

"You're starting to weird me out, I'm doing just fine." I say laughing a little.

"Just because you came out of your room today doesn't mean you're doing fine." She says.

"Why are you being so rude?" I ask looking at her.

"I don't want you to see Seth anymore." She says raising her voice. I look at her for a moment and say nothing.

"Ok." I say.

"That's all you have to say?" She asks looking at me confused.

"I don't have the energy to sit here and argue with you, and honestly I agreed on keeping my distance from him for a while, we talked about it before you came here and tried to split us up yourself. I'm still going to talk to him and I'm still going to hang out with him but not as a boyfriend. If something happens later we'll make it happen, but if you feeling like you did it yourself is gonna make you feel all macho have at it." I say standing up.

"Do not talk to me that way young lady." She says grabbing my arm.

"I'm not going to argue with you especially when I've done nothing wrong." I say turning to look at her. "I have a lot of school work to catch up on so I'm going upstairs to do it." I say snatching my arm away from her. I walk upstairs and shut the door.

I walk over to my desk and sit there for a minute looking at the pens and pencils scattered everywhere. I grab my bag and headphones and put them in so I can start doing my work.

*2:30 rolls around*

"Keisha, you need to start getting ready." I hear Linda say through the door. "Keisha!" She hollers one more time. I take out one of my headphones.
