Mortals Meet

Jason Grace

Jason's POV:-

After the Giant War, peace was finally restored amongst both the camps. People went from one camp to another and the untold exchange programs had stopped for now at least.

Right now Piper and I were at Camp HalfBlood enjoying the beautiful weather and having a blast with the rest of the seven. I almost forgot to tell you guys that Leo had miraculously shown up at his own funeral with a beautiful girl named Calypso. That was slightly weird to be honest, but we at the end of the day are demigods what is not weird about us. So currently Piper had to do something in her cabin so I decided to wander around a bit. I was walking past the Zeus cabin when I heard someone calling my name. I didn't even need to look around to see who it was.

A few seconds later Percy had his arm slung around my shoulder. He said,

"My dear cousin brother to what do I owe the pleasure of your company?"

"What do want Percy?"

Percy stopped and put a hand on his chest,

"Bro that hurt, it was like you stabbed me in the heart."

"Perce, your heart is on the other side."

Percy huffed in annoyance and stopped his foot. I rolled my eyes and started to walk forward.

"Jason, I need to your help."

"You don't say."

I turned around and walked back to the 2 year old. To be completely honest with you his plan was pretty amazing. All I had to do was organize the party.

Soon the party which relatively a small one began in full swing. People were everywhere having fun. An hour or so later just a few of us were left namely the seven along with Grover and Juniper. We had decided to start a game of truth and dare. It started of with the usual dares of going around camp in nothing but your boxers and singing the Barney theme. Till now by far the funniest one was when I had to go to Mr.D and set his grapes on fire. If I was Frank I'd sleep with one eye open.
As soon as the laughter died down. I turned to look at Percy and he gave me a slight nod. So the plan was now rolling.

"Perce you know the question."

"I will have to choose truth."

"Okay. Why did you give up immortality?"

"I thought that things would start to look up you know in some parts of life. Mainly because of Annabeth when I saw her face at that minute nothing mattered more than her. I sort of had a flashback to when she was thinking of joining the hunt. I felt helpless at that time it was as though someone had deprived me of oxygen. I didn't want her to feel like that. Hence I gave up immortality."

Piper who sat beside me let out a small 'Aww'.

Percy looked around to see if everyonne was satisfied with his answer. Before he could target the next person I said,
"Now everyone needs to do a dare. This just becoming a game of truths."
Everyone nooded in agreement. Percy then moved on to his next victim. He looked at Annabeth and said,
"Wise Girl, Dare or well dare?"
Annabeth let out a small giggle.
"I choose dare."
Percy got up and walked over to Annabeth got down on one knee and said,
"Wise Girl, I dare you to marry me."
He then took out a velvet box and opened it. Inside it there was a ring.
"Wise Girl please give me a answer. my knee is kinda hurting."
Annabeth nodded.
You could see the tears glistening in her eyes. Piper gripped my hand and said,
"I can't wait for you do that."
I smiled and thought in my head oh she had no idea what she was in for the next day.
