Chapter-9-Rose

He drags his hands from my face down to my shoulder, then pulls at the selves, making it rip ,I scream with agony.

He takes a step back to make another move, but is whirled around in the air before he hits the ground.

Hamid stands over him. He tugs him up, nearly tearing his collar. Slams Zunair against a tree. Throws in a punch towards his jaw without any hesitation.

"I told you to stay away from her." Hamids voice rings loud. Zunair spits out blood and pounces at Hamid. But Hamid is faster, his arms storm out towards him with fury .Zunair falls unconscious.

Hamid comes over to me. I fall into his arms. He holds me close. I feel him kiss my head.

"Are you okay love?trust me ;if he did anything he will not be walking away alive from here."

"No, I am okay." I manage to whimper out.

"Thank Allah for keeping you safe."

Hamid finally steps away, collects my dupatta from the ground and wraps it around me. He also removes his cardigan and flares it over me. After collecting my things from the ground he hurls me into his car.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Hamid questions for the hundredth time, while we are in the car.

I manage to nod an okay,

"Will he, be okay?" I stutter out ,with my swollen lips.

"Don't worry, that filth will live" Hamid tells me as we stop at the red light.

A young boy comes at his window,holding individually wrapped roses. He asks Hamid;

"Sir, would you like to buy a rose for the madam? "

"I would like to buy a garden full of roses but for now one will do." Hamid says to the boy, making my heart flutter.

"It's only ten rupees, Sir."

Hamid hands him a thousand rupees note,

"Keep the change." He tells him as he takes the rose from him and hands it over to me.

" That was really nice of you." I say clenching the flower in my hand.

"Well what can I say , I am feeling jenerous, for I thank Allah, he has kept you safe." He informs me, giving me a smile before he drives on as the light turns green.
