Liybha pulls me in her room, closing the door behind us.
Her bangles clink as she let's go of my hand and sits in the top corner of the bed.
Her head moves to a little figure wrapped around in soft blanket.
I situate myself next to her on the bed. My eyes fall on a little girl, her hands wrapped around a doll.
" This our daughter, Aiza. " Liybha tells me.
I am stunned at first, but then great joy ripples through. The longer I look at her the more I can see parts of Liybha and me in her. I can feel the vibrant connection between Aiza and me.
We have a daughter, me and Liybha.
Oh my Allah! You have given me everything, even more than I deserve.
Unexpecting tears roll out my eyes.
"Hamid are you okay? " Liybha asks me, placing her hand on mine.
"Yes, love. I am more than okay. You have given me everything. I just wish I was there with you and Aiza, but we can't change the past.
Go get changed love, you must be uncomfortable in these clothes for so long. " I tell her, wiping my face and giving her a smile.
After Liybha leaves, I lay down next to Aiza and pull her into my arms. Giving her a kiss on the cheek, I close my eyes.
After a few minutes I feel Liybha come in the room. She takes off my shoes, probably annoyed that I slept with my shoes on. I feel her comming over to the bed side. She leans forward, pushing back my hairs, she plants a soft kiss on my forhead.
It takes everything in me not to open my eyes and embrace her in my arms.
I fell her body brush mine as she gives a kiss to Aiza.
I hear her footsteps leaving the room as I fall asleep with the miracle Allah has provided me and Liybha with.
.......
I wake up to find Aiza playing with my hands.
" Da, di Allah sent you doen?" Aiza asks me, her eyes sparkling like Liybha ,even though her eyes held my eye colour.
" I prayt Allah tat ju come bik to me and Mami." She tells me.
" Yes, Allah sent me back to you and Mummy because of your prayer." I say to her, sitting up and grabbing her onto my lap.
" Di, Mami git maierd?"
" No, because Allah sent me back because of your prayer to stop the wedding. Zunair was a bad guy. He hurt your Mummy and
me very much."
I try to explain to Aiza.
She listens to me quietly and then gets up to pick up two dolls from the bed.
She climbs down the bed, and then throws the dolls in the bin.
She returns to me smiling.
" Why did you throw away the dolls Aiza?" I ask, with concern.
" Becoj Zun huart ju and Mami. I doant want hij doll. " Aiza tells me, putting her hands up. I pick her back up, placing her in my lap.
" Don't worry my little baby, Zunair will not hurt Mummy anymore. "
