I was running back the tree house to see Xyrene, I needed to protect her. Just then, I saw Morphane- an Iren shadow-like soul eater- dashing through the woods, faster than me. It was heading towards the tree house also and I couldn’t catch up with its speed. It was getting nearer and nearer my home and my legs are already aching. I was about to give up when Xyrene’s image flashed before my eyes. I needed to save her. I will save her. I sprinted and ran as fast as I can, but seconds apart the morphane slipped right inside my house…. It was too late.
XYRENE
There was darkness everywhere. The silence was scaring me. I don’t know where I was. Just then I heard a voice, it’s like it was singing to me.
♪ When somebody loved me, everything was beautiful ♪
The song was so familiar, like it was just yesterday that I heard it. It was calming. A figure appeared across the room as it brightened up. And it was walking closer to me as it continued on singing.
♪ Every hour we spent together, lives within my heart… ♪
It reached for my hand. I can’t make out who it is yet, everything’s blurry. As his hand drew nearer and nearer to mine, a bright light flashed and everything was gone.

I woke up realizing it was just a dream. There was an eerie sound surrounding the room. I tucked the sheets closer to me. What’s happening? The door crashed open and I saw a shadow-like creature enter. It was flying to me. I let out a scream.
