Chapter 37

  LEAS P.O.V.

    The past week has been great.

   I always loved how small details made me feel great. Even when my life was a mess, looking back at everything, only good memories gave sense to my existence.

   I decided to move my dad in my house.

  Doctors told me that usually patients in the same condition as him woke up after a year or didn't wake up at all. I didn't want him to be in that hospital anymore, because he needs to be close to me.

     I moved him in one of my empty rooms and made a hospital palate there, hired some of the best people to take care of him. I wasn't loosing hope yet, because i know he'll wake up.

    Being negative about anything made me feel worse, i didn't want to lose hope, i know everything will be fine again. My dad isn't a man that gives up easily as well, he taught me everything i know and that's why i won't let him go, not yet.

   Besides that, the next morning after the dinner, all the leaders gathered in our building once again.

   "We had a dinner yesterday and he's all in our hands" i said and smiled.

  "He will agree probably on anything if Lea keeps flirting with him" mattia said and laughed and i laughed as well. Twins didn't look very excited, Ethan even rolled his eyes.

    "Amazing amore, you're doing a great job, I'm very proud of you both" Paolo said and clapped.
  
    "Are you 100% sure that he's not pretending to be somebody else?" Ethan said with serious tone and everybody looked at him, even paolo stopped clapping.

   "Ethan, i told you we digged in his past and there is no-" grayson started but got interrupted.

    "I know, but just blindly trusting somebody like him isn't a good idea, what if he's planning something and wants to look innocent and that's why he's agreeing on everything" he said and got up from the table.

  "You think we're THAT stupid?" I asked him.

   "Clearly you are. Imagine trusting someone you know for a month, who's partner kills people with no struggle." He said and my mouth dropped to the floor.

  "How do you know about that?" I asked him as i wanted to know why was he sticking his nose in my bussiness. That is just very rude of him.

  "You're not the only one knowing everything about everyone" he said and raised his brow with a serious face.

  "First of all, that incident saved both of our lives and Naomi isn't somebody who's a threat to anyone-"

  "How do you know??" He interrupted me and looked at me with challenging eyes. He was right, i didn't know much about naomi yet but there's nothing that would make them suspicious because we'd already find out about that.

   "That's what i thought" ethan smirked when i didn't give him an answer. "I still don't understand why we let a 20 year old girl decide the future of our gang" Ethan said, and looked at everyone. What a fucking asshole, what is his fucking problem?

    I was about to start roasting him when mattia got up and got closer to him.

  "You know you're talking bullshit, right? You want to seem all clever with your theories and you have no right to disrespect Lea like that. She's doing what she can and in this moment you're very wrong and i don't see a reason why you're being so dramatic" For the first time Mattia didn't scream into anyones face. He didn't seem aggresive he was just being protective over me.
