A chapter shorter than the last one (old)

Ok, so this chapter will be focusing on new genres for the animatronics (ex: the funtimes, the nightmares, the toys, etc...). If you only plan on creating new robots then feel free to give this one a skip and move on to the next chapter that may or may not exist right now.

Above, you can see the new genre of animatronics I first created a while ago and mentioned in another chapter, the circus animatronics. I only came up with these designs recently though, and am still figuring out the bugs. If you continue to read, you'll find out how I created them and how you can do better.

Here's a picture of those iconic haunted robots we all know and have mixed opinions on. This is to help compare the rest of the genres I'm about to show, so you might want to scroll back up and find some more differences for your selfs.

First, I'm going to find some things that I think are note worthy if you want to go for the look that I will from now on call the 'o.g' look.

⚫️ they're all made of some type of fabric material with plastic details (noses, beak, eyes, eye brows, etc...)
⚫️ they all have teeth. Even the bird.
⚫️ they all have eye brows. Even the bird.
⚫️ they're all pretty chonkey. They look like early or cheap versions of the characters while also looking perfectly normal to us.
⚫️You can see their endo-teeth things when they open their mouths.
⚫️ Outer parts of the endo skeleton are hidden by bibs, bow ties and larger, seemingly unneeded, shoulders and torso.

Now, here are the toy animatronics, you can still see some rather noticeable differences.

⚫️ They're made entirely of plastic
⚫️ The bird still has eyebrows
⚫️ Added cheek things
⚫️ Take up a lot less space than the o.g's did
⚫️ The arms and legs look a lot easier to move
⚫️ Lighter colours
⚫️ Eye lashes
⚫️ They're more cartoony
⚫️ Looks like more effort and money was put into making them.

Above are the nightmare animatronics (obviously), even the ones that aren't cannon (apart from the puppet, I couldn't find an image with them in it where you can clearly see the designs of the robots)Actually, the nightmares are a bit unique in th...

Actually, the nightmares are a bit unique in the regard that nothing needs to be held back. They're part of a kids nightmare, you can go all out with the scare-factor here.
⚫️ Incredibly sharp teeth
⚫️ All (apart from mangle, bb and plushtrap) have an area that separates the top and middle part of the torso from the bottom part
⚫️  Dulled colours
⚫️ Only plushtrap has sort of normal eyes
⚫️ Missing ears, limbs and parts of the outer costume
⚫️ Exposed endo skeletons and wiring
⚫️ pointed digets
⚫️ not very mobile
⚫️ Thicker limbs

As most could guess, here are ten Funtime animatronics.

⚫️ Their faces open up
⚫️ Main colours are white, pink, blue, purple and red
⚫️ All have exposed speakers or other vital parts to their entertainment
⚫️ Sections look more separated and expensive
⚫️ Access panels everywhere
⚫️ Top half's look more adjustable but the feel look hard to move in (apart from Ballora)
⚫️ Empty space inside to trap kids
⚫️ Baby has a working ice cream machine

Ok, now we have all those differences written down, look over them and see if you want to look over any features that you want to add to your new genre.

If you've found some or don't find any appealing, too bad I'm moving on.

Have a set place and time your genre's set in. To use an example, take a look at the animatronics I designed at 1am while bored and iron deficient.
⚫️ Lots of swirls in the design
⚫️ Stiched fabric
⚫️ Set nicknames
⚫️ Looks like they were made cheaply
They aren't too impressive, but they'll do.

The first thing you want to do is to play with shapes. Depending on what job your robot is built for, it is going to be shaped differently depending on what is does and where it works. Example; my Chica has a more slim/oval shape to her because she works the haunted house and/or food court with Freddy (I haven't decided yet). Haunted houses, from what I've experienced, are quite claustrophobic, and fitting between tables to take orders when you're 7" tall and 5" wide is going to be difficult.

Another thing to remember when creating a genre is when this happens in the time line. If you've watched some fnaf theories, which I'm guessing by the string of Mat Pat related comments I found a couple of chapters ago (yeah, I'm talking to you, @mxndaynightmessiah, @Pj_and_walker and @Puppylover259011) you would know how the fnaf story and timeline is messy and complicated.

However, multiple people have several theories about what happens when, as mentioned. As I'm not here to start any fights, there will be no picture of paragraph about the timeline until someone finally, undoubtedly strings all the missing parts together, giving us a full idea of what's happening.

But anyways, depending on where your genre fits into the timeline, the animatronics will be designed differently. When the killer who I will not name in the sheer effort to not get any death threats over weather it was an Afton, an Emily, a Miller, etc..., started leaning towards getting robots to do the abducting for them, parts of the famed story can't be used, for the third example this chapter I think, springlocks. If the murderer has animatronics that abduct kids without having people inside them, then there's no use for them in the timeline of your story.

As no one reads the part in bold, I'll make this short.

I will be making another chapter. Hopefully.
