AT THE STRIP CLUB, NICK HAD shown hyacinths flowers to Dean that he claimed were found at the crime scene. Dean had recognized them as the same flowers that Dr. Roberts had in her office. On his way out, Dean messaged Marissa, informing her that he believed that it was Dr. Roberts that was the siren, and he was sure that Sam and Lily were with her at that moment. He had told her about the flowers that were found at the crime scene. Of course, Marissa didn't see the message right away, and in the meantime, Dean was heading to the doctor's office.

As for Sam and Lily, they had separated once they found out that the blood was missing. Lily walked back to the motel, leaving Sam alone with the doctor. He seemed to be getting along with her far too well. With no leads for the night, Lily was frustrated beyond relief, so she had decided to spend the night in the motel room searching for another way to draw out the siren. It had not been a day, and they were crazy tired with their lack of cracks in the mystery of it all. After Sam had left the doctor's office hours later, he made it back to his shared motel room. Walking down the hallway, he pulled out his cell and looked through his contacts before he found Dean's number. Dialing his number, he shut the door as he entered.

"Sam! Where the hell have you been?" Dean answered on the other side of the phone.

"With Cara," Sam replied as he referred to Dr. Roberts, who was now on a first-name basis with him.

"Oh, it's Cara now? And you're not picking up your phone?" Dean followed up slightly raising his voice. He was worried when his brother didn't pick up the phone, but now he was even more worried upon finding out that his brother was with the suspected siren.

"We were trying to find the blood samples―someone stole them," Sam informed his brother on the lead that had gone to dust.

"Yeah, I bet!" He stated sarcastically.
