Elizebeth finally finished the class, and she was tired. She watched as the last student left the room and she just watched out the window. It was a lovely afternoon, and if she had the energy, she would certainly go for a walk. She sighed as she continued to stare and another presence came into the room. "Something on your mind?" Severus asked as she smiled and faced him. "I suppose I did get a little lost in the window." She said as he walked over slowly, in strides. He gently ran through her red wavy locks and smirked. "What is it?" Beth asked him as he looked out the window as well. "Simply......admiring your beauty." He spoke deeply as she blushed a little. "You say the kindest words to me......and the sourest ones to others." She spoke. "I may have.....changed for you, dear Elizebeth, but I will not change for others." He said as he started to braid her hair, all over again, like he did that one day in the classroom. She hadn't been helping him with the potions because of her pregnancy and Severus' fear of her getting hurt.
"Was your session good?" Beth asked as she got an "Mhm" from Severus. "You were missed." He added as he continued braiding her hair. She was always amazed at his skill in braiding. She had yet to fully understand where he got that skill. "Your students missed me?" She joked as he smirked lowly and gave her a little smack to her head but it was not hard. "Do not be so ridiculous. Of course, it was me." He said softly as she laughed. "I was just joking! I know it was you." She said as he finished her hair and kissed the top of her head. "It is done." He said softly as she turned to face him. "Why thank you." She said as she touched the braid and looked up at him. He was wearing his traditional black robe. It was still cold in March. He looked down at her and said "Perhaps we can remove you......and leave to a more.......comfortable area?" She nodded as he helped her up and he rubbed her large belly with his cold hands. "You look......very elegant, my love." He whispered as he kissed her forehead a few times and she rubbed his biceps with a smile. "Stop it...." She chuckled as she rubbed him some more. "Never my love......you deserve the words of encouragement." He spoke as he held her back and they walked out of the room.
She held onto him closely as he did the same. His dark glance was of concern and worry, and she saw this. "Hey....." She said in a whisper as he seemed to snap out of the trance. "Yes?" He asked deeply. "Do not be so worried......I am doing fine and so is the baby. You are doing so good at protecting me, and making sure I'm okay." She smiled as she hugged his arm sweetly. "One can never be too cautious....." He mumbled as they got to the stairs. "Move forward. I will be behind to guide you." He said as she nodded and she slowly took a few steps. He was right behind her, his large hands caressing the crease on her back and slightly supporting her while she took these steps. She was breathing heavily but she knew that getting the proper exercise while being pregnant was important. She couldn't have Severus carrying her around all the time. He would softly whisper into her ear and ask how she was doing, and she would give him a nod and a small smile. They took their time. Severus did not want to rush this. His quote on quote "free time" was dedicated to his woman, so any time spent with her was worth the world. It took about 5 minutes or so, but Beth got to the top of the stairs. She exhaled deeply with a chuckle. "Well, I made it!" She giggled as Severus chuckled to himself and rubbed her back. "With MY assistance." He corrected her as she rolled her eyes. "Okay, okay, you helped a lot." She said as he smiled at her rubbed her back and looked down into her beautiful green eyes he just adored.
"Shall we go to your quarters?" Beth asked as Severus glared at her but very softly. "I have another.......suggestion. My office, Miss Washington." He said firmly at the end as if he was saying it to a student. Beth played along and gasped. "Oh, but Professor.......I didn't do anything wrong!" She said in an exaggerated voice. "You've done everything simply.......wrong." He said as he added, "Follow me." He walked firmly in front of her and she gently followed. Some students saw them walking and Beth waved to them while Severus continued to walk to his office, his cloak moving elegantly behind him like he was somewhat floating in the air. It was a sight that made Elizebeth mesmerized.
