Eclipstar's Fury (Book Two)

"Caelen, don't..leave me. I'm sorry I can't keep your promise this time." I whispered and let the power consume my whole body.

My whole body was on fire. A fire that couldn't be quenched. I felt the power coursing through my veins. I felt my memories fading in the dark slowly and I loosing my sanity.

This is what he meant by you'll loose your mind if the power consumes you. I laugh darkly at her and an evil grin made its way to my face.

I saw fear flash on her face before it went back. I walked slowly towards her making sure to keep the evil grin on my face. She looked left and right looking for an opportunity to run. I knew what she wanted to do.

Before she could ran, I appeared in front of her amazed at my new power. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. I could hear her heat pounding furiously in her chest and I suddenly wanted to feel that heart in my hands.

"I'm giving you a five minute headstart, if you are able to outrun me I'll spare you but if you don't.." I drag the last word.

"I'll kill you." I smile at her. Like a lightening, she ran from my sight. I jumped in the air landing on a tree.

After five minutes I started my hunt for her heart. I hopped from tree to tree tracking her scent. I heard her panicked footsteps. I peeked down from where I was to see her by a tree catching her breath.

"That's a shame. Caelen's sweetheart isn't an athlete." I said in the shadows and she stopped and looked everywhere. Her heart beat was increasing by the second.

Twinkle, twinkle little stars,

I can just take out your heart.
Waiting for your doom today

I sang in a sickly sweet voice and I saw her look around. I jumped and landed in front of her and she screamed cowering away from me.

"Please,do..nt kill me. I was forced to do it." She sobbed in a pathetic voice.

"Oh and you expect me to believe that lie." I looked down at her coldly.

"I'm...sorry. I didn't want to kill him.I was forced. He had my only brothers and I had to save them." She sobbed holding my legs.

"Brothers, are they twins." I asked and she nodded.

"Well, well ,well. What do we have here?  I was looking for them to kill myself and I found their sister." I smiled.

"I guess betrayal runs in your family." I held her neck and squeezed it. She scratched my hand gasping for oxygen to fill her lungs.

"You hurt someone you shouldn't have hurt you know." I squeezed it tighter and she kicked her legs and scratched my hands.

"Yo..u a..r..e cr..azy." She managed to say. "Am crazy because you touched someone you shouldn't have touched." I said.

I grew ice on my finger tips and drew circles on her chest. Her heart quickened.

"See, am going to remove your heart and place it on my wall as my wallpaper. What do you say." I grinned at her and she scratched my hand furiously.

I pushed my fingers inside her chest and she shook violently. I felt her warm blood on my hand. I want that heart.

Something soft brushed my finger tips and I smiled. She looked at me pleadingly but I ignored her. I wrap my fingers around it and with all my energy I pulled of from her body.

Her eyes where wide with shock and her life started slipping slowly. I threw her on the ground and smiled when I saw her heart beat in my hand and it stopped. I threw it on the ground and stepped on it.

I went back to only see Misty and Caelen laying in the floor. The rest had disappeared. A note lay beside Caelens almost lifeless body.

This is just the beginning.

Reading it brought anger in my heart. I checked their pulse to find out whether they were fine but not for long.

I touched Misty's head and transferred my energy in her to keep her alive and transferred my energy to Caelen.

I heard him say the leader of the resistance lives around this part in the frosty mountains. How I heard it is a long story.

I carried Caelen on my back and made an ice bed over my head with Misty on it. I guess I have to find him on my own.

The ice storm has never stopped since I started climbing the mountain. The heavy load on my back has increased and my magic is also fading.

Moving on my feet with the ice is almost impossible. My energy is draining and am getting tired.

I saw someone moving too quick in the mist. My body was wearing and my eyes were closing slowly. I forced them open. Black dots filled my vision and I fainted out of exhaustion.

Hii it's me again. By God's Grace am doing well. I have finished my medications so now I can write again. Staying at home doing nothing is boring. At school I couldn't walk but my bestie helped me throughout that time so am dedicating this chapter to her.
