I massaged my head for the tenth time. Why won't those two idiots cooperate with me. They make my work even difficult. Francis sent me a concerned look.

Getting fed up with their child-like behaviors, I hit the back of their heads. "Girls, girls can we just calm down and talk like mature adults." I pulled them apart.

Caelen sent Mike an annoyed look. " Look here, that's the only way we  can get them. If you two won't accept it then leave ." I crashed their heads together.

"What if you get hurt again.?" Mike said eyeing my bruised fist. I rolled my eyes at him.  Its not like am going to murder myself.

We were interrupted by a young boy who entered the room suddenly. "Miss, they are two guys are looking for you at the borders."  He said out of breath.

"Me ?What did they what?" I asked him looking at Mike then to Caelen who shrugged his shoulders.

"They didn't mention but the are causing trouble at the border." He said. I nodded and followed him quickly.

When we reached, I wasn't expecting to see Lucas and Lucian there. They had their backs to each other with their powers activated.

I saw two people laying on the snow burnt by Lucas. "What is the meaning of this!" I said with authority laced in my voice.

They heads snapped to my direction. They walked towards me and the other people present surrounding me in a circle ready to fight them.

"Its alright I can handle this." I assured Scopio. He nodded and let his colleagues part way so I could pass.

"What do you want here? After your betrayal, you have the guts to come here." I hissed at them.

They kneeled in front of me surprising me. "We came here to help" the said with their heads bowed. I don't know but something seems suspicious.

"Oh really,  and you think I'll fall for your traps again." I laughed at them.

"First of all, how did you know I am here and how did you know I needed your help?" I glared coldly at them. Trust is something I never give out for free. Once you've broken the trust I have with you, forget it.

They looked away at my questioning raising my suspicion. "Don't tell me Graymond sent you here to kill me." I chuckled dryly.

"No he didn't send us here." The pair shook their heads. "We came here on our own accord."

"You have not answered my question. "How did you know I was here?" I walked closer to them. I hate being lied to.

"We followed you when you were going to the library." Lucas said. I rose my brow for a better explanation.

"We were in the human realm when we sensed a strong power in our radar, then out of curiosity we traced it and followed it. We found you in the forest and decided to approach you. But.. because of them we couldn't." Lucas looked behind me.

I Folloewd their gaze to se Caelen, Mike and Misty behind me. "What are you doing here"I aked them.

"What are they doing here?" Caelen asked glaring hard at them. His fist clenched at his sides while his anger rising.

I knew his anger was surfavi g because the cold temperature was slowly becoming colder.

Not that it hurt me but I was worried about the twins because they didn't have clod resistant bodies like ours because of their elemental powers.

"Caelen, it's enough. You are hurting them." I placed my hand on his clenched fist pressing it softly.

I decided to use the pet name he always used for me. "Amica mea, you are hurting them. Please stop." I look into his eyes pleadingly.
