XVIII

The moment we passed through the barriers of the Ice Kingdom the environment felt different. As if the Kingdom has been lacking a soul. Everyone was happy.

I landed gracefully on the training ground. I was welcomed by the leaders of the four clans including Nicholas.

Once they all got off, I changed to a human. "Ah I see you brought guests." Nicholas smiled. He scanned the group and his eyes landed on my parents. He bowed and the rest followed.

"Welcome back Your Majesties." They chorused and everyone did the same.

"Rise, rise no need for formalities. I'm no King now"  My dad said laughing.

" And what is this scum doing here. "  Nicholas hissed.

"Quiet! Now he is my guest no one hurts him or else you'll regret it." I bellowed at them. The place was quiet. "Yes, Your Highness." They'd bowed their heads.

"And arrange rooms for them. I'm going in Nicholas please follow me. Brothers you too follow me."

"The rest of you should get some rest." J said  stepping inside the Palace.

Graymond or should I  say Rei he preferred it that way. He was cuffed by magic twines and tied to a chair in front of me.

Nicholas was uncomfortable with him here. "Your Highness,I'll ask why you brought me here?Is anything the matter?"

I narrowed my eyes in deep thought." Yes. There is one thing am not quite clear about. One is  he managed to kidnap  my brother "

"And he successfully did it. Apart from Isabel betraying us, I feel that there are some more people." I said. Nicholas looked deep in thought probably considering what I said.

"Rei can you tell us the people involved in this treachery?" I leaned closer to him. "I can..but.. I will only tell you alone." He looked at his finger nails.

"Outrageous! " Nicholas raged." How can we trust you will not do anything even with your powers removed!"

"Calm down, Nicholas." I  hushed him pulling him from attacking." Leave us." I said to them. *Your Highness-" Nicholas started and I interrupted him.

"I'll be fine. Guard the door and do not let anyone interrupted." I sighed.  "Yes Your Highness." He said when I didn't not say anything.

He grabbed Eyrx's hand and the pair left us. I was met with silence. "Don't waste my time brother. ". I spat venomously.

" What an impatient kitten." He mocked me. I held my anger. I was two seconds of tipping his head off. "Tell me. I won't say it don't even think of playing any tricks again." I growled.

"Fine come closer." He said gesturing me to cine closer.  I looked at him distrustfully. How can I trust him after all he has done.

"Come closer I don't bite." He scoffed at my dumbness. "Don't play any games." I warned and leaned closer to him.

"It's Gina and Olivia." He said in one breath. I stated at him wide eyed. He us kidding me right. "Its not true. " I whispered.

They are too kind to do this. "Sometimes people do not seem like what they appear to be." He said. "Since we are all alone why don't we play a game." He said leaning clue to me.

"What are doing?" I dodged his advances. Only God knew what he was planing. "What can I do to you Reina? You are my sister after all." He shrugged. Is this man supposed to be evil. I watch him carefully.

"I never knew the devil had a gentle side." I said to my self quietly. "I have a proposal." He said tapping his fingers on the table. "What is this proposal?" I asked suddenly interested.
