I took careful steps backwards and she followed suit. 'Ready' she asks.

"I'm ready" I said in a determined tone.

Eclipstar (POV)

Misty positioned herself and signaled me to come. I ran to the middle and leaped in the air. Misty hit her paws firmly on the ground. Ice pillars sprouted from the ground and formed a stair case. I landed on the first one carefully.

I ran on the stair with great speed as it curved and rose higher. I stop at the end of it. I tied a piece of cloth around my eye. I felt Misty's hesitation. She shot ice balls in my way. I summoned my sword and hit the first one. Her hits were quick and i deflected all.

She then hit her paws on the ground once more and she made small platforms in the shape of a snowflake suspending in the air. Arrow shooting huh.

I shook my hand and my arrow appeared in my hand. I ran and jumped on one snowflake and shot one ball she shot at me. I jumped on the other one and shot another incoming ball. I did this several times and jumped from one to the ground.

In mid air, I spun and shot three balls continuously. About reaching the ground, Misty jumped and carried me. She landed gracefully on her feet. She changed her form to a horse, a hairy one. I held her mane firmly as she trotted around the fire.

She increased her pace and was my cue to do my trick. I rose my body up using my legs. I sat on her again. Then, I let go of her mane and stood on her back careful not to fall. I removed the cloth around my eye and waved everyone.

They clapped for me. I saw Mike give me a proud smile. I flipped backward and landed on my feet. Misty changed to her original form, a cat and climbed my shoulder to rest.

I went back to my seat. 'stupid girl, you made me waste my power' She meowed in my ear attempting to scratch me. "Oh look at you now. You are so tiny what can you do." I cooed in her face rubbing her head.

She looked at me displeased." My, my, she soo cute." I held her armpits and raised her in the air. 'Put me down now' she continued meowing. I turned to Caelen.

"You did well, at least it was entertaining." he said. "Thanks, it was all her effort." I turned my attention to her. "You two are really close." He said.

"Well, we have to get going now." I said getting up. "Misty come, lets go and i'll restore your energy. I owe you this one." I said carrying her.

We sneaked to my room. "Misty come quick." I placed her on my bed and stood in front of her. I closed my eyes and imagined my energy flowing in her body. Her small body grew into the tiger Misty.

"Now we have to sneak out while they are partying. We should be back tomorrow morning." I told her. I peeked through the door and the corridor was clear.

I lightened my steps as we tiptoed out of the corridor. "why are you going?" Caelen's voice startled us causing us to jump back in fright.

"Phew. I thought it was Mike." I said lowly. " We were going to the bonfire." I said and Misty nodded in agreement. He watched us suspiciously, but let us go. When we in the open we changed out route toward the forest where Mike was injured.

The place was quiet. I look back to see if anyone was following me. Luckily, no one was. I chanted the words Misty taught me in the afternoon. A light breeze blew over us followed by light.
