|MISSING HIS TOUCH|

Nathaniel pondered as he touch the cheek which Andrew brushed the tear off just seconds ago. Nathaniel was speechless feeling confused was definitely understatement, since it couldn’t even begin explaining how he felt at the moment. Not trusting his legs, he slid down the lockers, gazing in nothing in particular as he tried to process what has just happened.

“Nathan!” Harold called as he approached him. “Nathaniel!” Harold shouted in his face, trying to gain his attention.

“What are you yelling at?” he blinked at Harold, realizing just now that the guy was talking to him.

“Are you on your own? You look kind of flushed.” Harold crouched beside him, now worried about his best friend. Nathaniel didn’t see fine to him from his face.

“I’ve been better. Nothing to worry about.” Nathaniel managed to respond. After a moment of silence, Harold tried again, “Did you get physical contact with Andrew?” he asked him only half teasingly.

He didn’t want his best friend to get into a trouble just because of that jackass. Nathaniel shot him a quick glance, his cheeks reddening in the process. After a moments of awkwardness, “Sort of.” Knowing that Harold couldn’t even imagine how physical he got with Andrew.

“Come on, we have basketball practice, we have to change.” Nathaniel said deciding to cut the conversation out. He tried to push out the thoughts of his encounter with Andrew from his thoughts at least for now.

Holy cow! Andrew thought when he saw a familiar smiley guy turning a corner and walking in his direction. He swiftly turned on his shoe, and hurriedly walked the opposite way. He wanted to sprint as far as possible, but that wouldn’t be appropriate for him, would it?

Hence, he had to settle for quick strides that would hopefully take him as far as possible from Nathaniel. Couple of turns later, he finally stopped. He waited of couple seconds to see if the blonde would find him. When he realized he was safe, he finally let out deep of breath relief and leaned on the wall.

He was avoiding Nathaniel these past few days. He couldn’t possibly confront him after what happened in the locker room. He was still shocked how he lost it with that guy. He himself couldn’t comprehend what came over him when he kissed Nathaniel. At one moment, he wanted to rip his throat out, and the next he was making out with him.

He only knew that he got fazed by Nathaniel’s perplexity. His beautiful scent and the warmth radiating off his body, took all self-control Nathaniel had. And he did the only thing that was on his mind these past couple of days. Andrew tilt his head at the memory trying to force it out of his head.

But no matter how much he tried, he couldn’t get the warm, fuzzy feeling in the pit of his stomach. If he was a blushy person, he would have been crimson as kissing Nathaniel was brought to his mind. He never felt that around any girl, or any human being for that matter.

Could I be attracted to him? Andrew wondered as he reflected on the way his body betrayed him in the locker room. But I was never attracted to guys before and I hate him, he reasoned with himself. Maybe our mutual hate created some sort of sexual tension between us.

Loud chirping sound reminded him to hurry to his class. Damn that guy, now he even makes me late to class, Andrew snarled quietly, picking up his speed so he doesn’t get detention. That certainly wouldn’t be good for his image.

Andrew wasn’t the one who would back out of confrontation, but he had to gather his thoughts and figure out what is happening before he charge on, and put that guy in his place. However, he was aware of one thing: he had to find a way to resolve this situation with Nathaniel, and fast.
