A Long Way From Home

Afraid

Y/N's POV

I woke up with a searing headache, I couldn't sleep all night because of it. No matter what I did to try and stop the headache, it would just come back more painful each time. I looked over at my clock: 5:00am.

"It's five in the fucking morning?" I groaned as I tried to pull myself out of bed. I finally got up and I went to the bathroom to see if I had any medications for pain.

"Shit. I'm all out!" I sighed as I decided I'm going to go outside and buy some more. It was going to be difficult seeing as I could hardly move. I walked over to my front door holding my head. I grabbed my phone, wallet, keys and a jacket for the trip to the store.

I exited my apartment and locked the door behind me. I went to the elevator and took it all the way to the lobby. I waved to the security man and left through the front doors.

"You're fine. Everything's fine, y/n." I repeated to myself to try and calm my anxiety down. I live in such a small town that the only way I can get to the grocery store is to walk through the woods.

"How fun." I mumbled as I went to the forest line behind my apartment. I was hoping I wouldn't run into any wolves. My headache kept getting worse the deeper I walked into the forest. All of a sudden my entire body felt a jolt of extreme pain, I screamed at the feeling and fell to the ground holding my head.

"AHHHH! HELP! HELP!" I yelled hoping someone would hear my cry for help. Then something really strange happened, as I was sitting there on the ground I noticed my arms start to get hairier. But, it wasn't normal. My arms had white fur all over them, and then the pain increased tenfold. Shooting all throughout my body, I felt myself change almost. I was screaming and crying the whole time it was happening afraid of what I was becoming.

Hoseok's POV

My pack and I heard screaming and crying coming from just outside our territory walls. I told Yuki, our newest Epsilon to stay with the rest of the pack while Jungkook, Yoongi, Taehyung and I went out to see where that noise was coming from. The four of us changed into our wolf forms and we ran closer to where the sound was coming from. As soon as we reached it, we stopped in our tracks as we saw a beautiful fully white wolf, I'd never seen anything so beautiful in my life. She had these bright blue eyes, but I could sense that she was hurting. She had just shifted into a wolf for the first time, which is why she was in so much pain a few seconds ago. We stood there hoping she'd wake up.

Y/N's POV

As I opened my eyes, I saw four wolves looking down at me with intense looks. I looked down at my arms and started to whimper, but I've never whimpered like this before so how was this happening.

"Are you okay?" I heard someone ask, I looked around but no one was there except for the four wolves. I heard laughing and the voice said "I'm over here." I looked at the wolves and at this point I thought I was going crazy. The black wolf that looked familiar to me lowered down and sat right in front of me. "I'm Hoseok, I heard you scream and cry. I brought some of my pack members to make sure that you were okay." The wolf said, but he wasn't actually speaking to me with his mouth, no, he was speaking to me through something that's called a mind link. Every hybrid has one. How the fuck did I know that, I thought. "I-I'm okay, but I don't know what's going on." I replied back to him. He looked up at his pack members then back down to me. "It looks like you're a hybrid, like the rest of us." I was in shock.
