I ran back to the house where the rest of my pack lives. All 16 of them, being the Alpha of the pack I have to make sure that the other packs aren't around watching our every move. Our pack was getting bigger and stronger each day, more wolves were appearing in our territory and so they joined the pack because they had no where else to go. Each wolf in my pack has a job that they are required to do, but since we're hybrids, I don't make them do their job all the time. Sometimes we can just be ourselves and have a little fun.
I changed back into my human form and saw Jungkook waiting for me at the door.

Our house was not very big and since we get newbies everyday it's hard to fit everyone in, but we're managing.
"So, where'd ya go today?" Jungkook asked me as he smirked. I looked up at him and laughed a bit.
"Out." I replied as he laughed a bit himself.
"You being smart with me?" Jungkook asked rhetorically as I got closer to the door and he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. We both laughed as we entered the house.
"Anything interesting happen while I was out?" I asked Jungkook seeing as he's the Epsilon, his job is to guard the house or the territory while I'm out.
"Nope, it was a very boring day today." He responded as we reached the kitchen and he removed his arm from my shoulders. I saw Taehyung sitting on the couch in the other room, he was on his phone. I walked up behind him and ruffled his hair.
"HEY!" Taehyung shouted as he swatted my hand and laughed. I chuckled and sat down beside him.
"Where did you go today?" Taehyung asked as he looked over at me. I looked at him and raised my eyebrow.
"Why does everyone want to know?" I said laughing as he shrugged.
"Well, you go out a lot these days." He replied looking back at his phone.
"I was just scouting the land." I responded as I leaned my head against the back of the couch.
"Wasn't Asher out doing that as well?" Taehyung asked as he looked back at me.
"Maybe, but I wasn't scouting for the reasons he was scouting for." I responded closing my eyes.
"Oh," Taehyung said as he turned his attention to his phone once again.
"I saw someone." I said with a small smile on my face, my eyes still closed. I heard Jungkook laugh from the kitchen, he must have heard me.
"OOOOOOOO!" Jungkook hollered. I chuckled and opened my eyes.
"Do you know if they're a hybrid?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook walked into the room with two beers in his hand. He handed me one and sat down across from me, smirking. I saw his expression and laughed.
"I'm not sure, but she was beautiful." I said as both Jungkook and Taehyung looked at me, smiling big. They both hollered and we all laughed. As I opened my beer I heard someone coming downstairs.
"What are you boys laughing about?" I heard Zeus say as he walked over to where we were sitting.
"These two are being nosy." I laughed, Zeus laughed too. Zeus was known as the Gamma in our pack, he was the wisest amongst us. He used to be the Alpha but recently he was injured trying to protect us and I was next in line for being the Alpha. So, once we found out that he was injured, he appointed me to be the new Alpha of the pack.
"Where is everyone?" I asked wondering why the house was so quiet. Jungkook took a sip of his beer and looked up at me.
"Some went out hunting, and others went scouting." Jungkook said as I took a sip of beer and nodded.
"So, are you going to tell us about this mysterious girl you saw?" Taehyung asked smirking at me. I snickered and Zeus laughed.
"A girl, eh?" Zeus said from behind me.
"Yeah, but don't make any assumptions guys, I only got a glimpse of her." I responded as I took another sip of beer.
"Well, it must have been long enough for you to say that she was beautiful." Jungkook said as he chuckled.
"He's right." Zeus said as he left the room laughing.
"Yeah, yeah." I said leaning my head against the back of the couch again.
I heard the door open as several members of our pack entered laughing and chatting. They entered the kitchen and I heard them place something heavy on the counter. I looked back at them and was shocked.
"Hey, boss!" Hunter said as he smiled.
"Hey, whatcha got there?" I asked raising an eyebrow. As hybrids all of our senses are much stronger, meaning I could smell that dead deer from a mile away. I already knew what it was, but Hunter knows better than to bring the damn thing in the house.
"A Deer." He responded looking down at it and I could see his expression change.
"Mhm. What's the rule about bringing the animals in here when you've killed them?" I asked while Gunner walked up from behind Hunter.
"The rule is: never bring them into the house." Gunner said firmly as he glared at Hunter.
"Thank you, Gunner. Now put it in the garage and deal with it there." I said as I looked at Hunter. He smiled at me nervously and nodded.
"Sorry, boss." He said quietly as he picked up the deer and started to move it. I wasn't mad at Hunter, he's a newbie to the pack and doesn't really understand the rules even though I told Raven to tell him. Raven is the Kappa which means she's the lead hunter around here and she has been in my pack for a while now. Gunner is a Lambda which means that he's a hunter. Gunner was trying to show Hunter the ropes because Hunter is one of our pack's new Lambdas.
"Make sure he remembers next time, okay? You know everyone in this house goes crazy when they smell the fresh meat." I said as I looked at Gunner, he nodded and followed Hunter to the garage. Raven entered the room and put her head down.
"Sorry, Hoseok. I swear I told him." Raven said as she looked at me.
"Don't worry, Raven. It's okay." I replied as she smiled and left the room as well.
"You're too nice to them." I heard Jungkook say. I looked back at him and laughed.
"You think?" I said as he nodded. I always tried to be the reasonable Alpha. I was never one to start fights or be too aggressive with my pack members. Truth is when I get mad, I tend to even scare myself. So, it's not something I like to do, I stay calm and hope everything will work out.
