Leo POV (on Sunday)
I hate that jerk who put a downing in Grace's life. Lately Grace isn't her usual self. She usually so bubbly and sweet and always there to help . But now after that jerk Kyle, she mopes around and doesn't have a care. I really miss the old Grace. But everyday I develop more feelings for Grace. She only sees us as friends. And that's a little disappointing. Maybe if I work at it little by little, maybe she'll see me differently. I want to do something for her and her birthday is coming up. So today I set out to a jewelry store.
"Hello sir. What can I help you with today?"
"I would like to buy a necklace for my friends birthday." She showed me to the counter and we looked through the case till I found the one. It was a rose gold diamond necklace. It would look perfect on Grace."I'll take it!"
What I might do is see if one way or another I can get Grace to go on a date with me. Hopefully this would work.Monday Morning
Another Monday morning. It's a kick in the butt. I met up with Grace at the bus stop. She made it 30 seconds before! She honestly is something and i don't know how this girl does it. But something seemed off today."Wow! New record. 30 seconds before."
"Hi Leo." She said with a roll of the eyes."Let me guess, over slept." I knew she would over sleep. She's either designing her worries away or
something doing something which causes her only to have a few hours of sleep."Yep." She said with a sigh. Now I knew something was wrong. "What's wrong?" "Nothing."
"Grace, I've known you for forever. And I know when your lying. Your nose twitches." We've been friends since preschool, and I know most of her insides and outs. We got onto the bus and she sat near the window and closed her eyes.
I told her that she should know that she can trust me and tell me anything. I will always be here for that girl. Whether or not I'm with her or not.
All throughout the day I kept thinking of Grace. Who knew she would be a big distraction. I kept rerunning the plan on my head. Friday was her birthday. I would basically ask her to go out with me and we would go to her favorite Italian restaurant: Illianos, and then take a night stroll under the stars, then give her the necklace. Friday was so far away but yet it was to close. I'm nervous but so ecstatic.
The rest of the day went through like a blur until the bell rang at last. But this one question kept nagging at me:
Nothing will go wrong right?Grace POV
I ran home as fast as I could. I soo had to clean my room. It was a mess. And by mess, I mean clothes, diaries (yes I still write in my diary), and pictures of Reagan, and so much more. Now don't think I'm a stalker!
I looked back at the clock and it was 3:30. Man I got 2 1/2 hours left! I soo need help! So I called Avery over. She was literally here in less than 5 minutes! How does this girl do that?"Hey girl."
"Hey. Thank you soo much for coming. I don't know what I'm gonna do. One of my all time favorite crush's is coming over and it looks like a tornado swept through and threw up Reagan and my stuff!""Ok, the first thing to do is not freak out. We still have about less than 2 1/2 hours left. We can get this place looking good by then." "Okay." I said and breathed.
It was all going to be good. Right?
2 hours later
Wow. We did an actual good job. Let's just hope I don't have to go in my closet for anything. Avery provided me tips on how to stay cool and left.I sat on my couch and just breathed.
Relax Grace.
Your cool.
Everything will be alr-Ding dong.....
I was interrupted yet again in my thoughts. He can't be here already!?What am I going to do?!
