The Unexpected Love Story

Chapter 5

I slowly got up from the couch and walked to the front door. I made sure my hair looked descent and fixed myself.

In.....Out
In.....Out
'You got this Grace!'I kept telling myself.

I slowly opened the door. Oh gosh! You wouldn't believe the gorgeousness I saw at my door!

"Hey Grace."
"H-hi!"
I stood there for a minute absorbing him, totally forgetting that he was still standing outside and I hadn't invited him in.

"May I come in?" He asked looking uncomfortable in that moment.
"Yes, yes! I'm so sorry. Come in!"
"It's ok."

We then walked to my room, and I sat on my bed and he sat on my lounge. We sat there for a few minutes in silence. Talk about sense of deja vu.

"So... do you want to work on Romeo and Juliet?"
"Yeah, that sounds good." I said and smiled.

We then practiced for a while till it came to the kissing scene. Oh goodness!

Reagan then stopped. He looked at me for continuation, and told him with my eyes to proceed.

He then locked his lips with mine. Oh gosh, it felt like sparks were shooting through my toes, all the way up to my head! Ohh! So this is what it feels like! I know it was just for the scene, but it still felt good and as real as I was going to get.

We then pull away. I know and could just feel myself flush and grow warm on my cheeks. We then just smiled at each other.

We practiced for a little while longer, till it was time for dinner. My mom then poked her head in the door.

"How's it going you two love birds?"
Oh my gosh!!! Why oh why do parents have to do this? "Mommm!"
"It's fine. We're good"
"It's time for dinner, Reagan your more than welcome to stay if you like."
"That's ok. My mom was wanting me to come home anyways. Thanks for the offer though."
"Anytime."

I walked Reagan to the door. "That was a great first practice." "Yeah that was." He said.

I know I could feel my mothers eyes on us from behind.  Ugh. How was I going to get through dinner?

"So I'll see you tomorrow at school. Bye!" He said and walked away.
"Bye!" If I was an emoji, I would so be the one with hearts in the eyes. I was totally hit by Cupid.

I closed the door and turned around to my mother with a wide smirk on her face. Oh lord.

After cleaning up dinner, I finish up my homework, finished another one of my sketch designs and I hoped right into bed. I was exhausted from the day. Out of all the Mondays, this was the best.

The Next Morning
I woke up with a smile on my face. Oh I can't wait to get to school and see Reagan's wonderful face. I have a feeling today is going to be a good day.

I went to the bathroom and took a good 5 minute shower since I woke up early this morning. I quickly did my morning routine and went to the kitchen. I actually had time to sit down this morning. I ate breakfast and headed out to the bus stop.

What surprised me was that I actually beat Leo to the stop a few seconds before he did.

"Wow. Someone seems to be in a good mood."
"Maybe." I said with a smile.
"This is nice."
"What?"
"You being in a good mood. Wanna tell me?"
"Maybe later with Avery."
"Aww. But that's too long from now."
I just smiled and boarded the bus.

At School
I opened my locker and and smiled. I then felt a presence beside me.

"A little birdie told me that someone was in a good mood for once."
"Very funny."
"Mind telling me?"
"Maybe later at lunch."
"So your gonna kill me."
"Basically." I said with a laugh.

Then guess who walked through the hallway. Again he walked through like no care in the world. Then he looked at me. I looked at him and smiled. He looked quite confused but continued on.

"Girl what was that all about?"
"Let's just say I'm moving on and looking for the better."

Then He walked through the hallway.
