The Unexpected Love Story

Chapter 6

Then He walked through the hallway. Ahh. There's the light of the day. Then he started coming towards me! Oh my!

"Hey Grace."
"H-hi"
"Nice morning, eh?"
"Yes. Today is a wonderful day!" I said then blushed.
"Well, I'll see you in theatre."
"Y-yeah, see ya!"
And he was gone. It wasn't much but it was enough to melt my heart. Just the sound of his voice made my heart flutter.

"Earth to Grace. You in there."
Whoah. How long was I thinking?
"Yes?"
"You zoned out after Mr. Handsome walked by. By the way what was that about? He never says anything to us."
"Nothing. We just had practice- wait this is what I'm telling you at lunch. Nice try."
"Ugh." She said with an eye roll.

At Lunch
I just sat down at are usual table, till I felt a thump land on both sides of me.
"Ok now spill." Said Avery.
"Ugh. Do I have too?"
"Um, my favorite BFFL is finally in a good mood, I want to hear." Said Leo.
"Hey I thought I was your favorite?"
"Heh, you thought."
Geez, these Avery gets soo offended and Leo is so defensive.
"Lord y'all. I need a vacation just from y'all."
"Rude." They both exclaimed at the same time. We all bursted into laughter.

"Ok, for real girl, I need to know the tea!"
"Ok, ok. So first of all, I got the part of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet!"
"For real?"
"Yep."
"Awesome!"
"Good job Grace!"
"Thanks!"
"Anyhow, so Mrs. Thompson wanted us to get to know one another and practice with each other out side of class. Oh and guess who Romeo is."

"Reagan."
"Yep." I said with a sigh.
"And Reagan asked if he could come over for practice and we came across the kissing scene!"
"Ooo. Did y'all actually kiss?"
"Yes!"
"No way!"
"Yes way! It was magical!" I said with another sigh.
Then I noticed that Leo was quiet for a while.
"What's wrong Leo?"
"What?"
"I know you. And you got a frown on your face."
If anyone knows Leo it's me.
"Nothings wrong."
"Ok. If you say so."

After the bell rang, we all started for are classes. But before Leo went, I grabbed his hand.
"Hey. Are you sure your alright?"
"Yes Grace, I'm sure."
"Well ok." I said and was about to walk off when the grip on my hand wasn't released.
"How about we go to are special place tonight."
"Ok. That sounds good."
We then parted are ways.

Leo POV
I thought everything was going good. And I had a plan and everything, till 'Reagan' came back into the picture. Like come on!

I sat all through lunch, half listening to Grace's rant about Reagan. But I rather see her happy about Reagan than to mope around about Kyle. Ooh Kyle. He makes my skin boil.

But after lunch, I got stopped by Grace and she asked me if I was alright. Of course not! This guy all of a sudden comes up and supposedly 'kisses' her!
I've got to do something and fast. So I invited her to are special place. When we were little, me and her found this place in a nearby valley that was hidden from most people. We would go there and talk about are day and just hangout. Well, years have gone by and we've gotten older and just run out of time to visit are place. We will go there once in a while every so often. I miss those days.

Grace POV
Theater
Yay. The best part of school has arrived. Today we had to show Mrs Thompson what we did yesterday. It was great! After class I was stopped yet again by Reagan. Ohh I love his touch. I just sends butterfl-
"Hey."
"Oh, hey!" Did I say that a little to enthusiastically?
"I was wondering if you'll like to hang out today?"
"To go over Romeo and Juliet?"
"Actually I was hoping to just hangout today. Maybe a movie?"
"Oh that would be great! Sure!"
"Alright! Let's say 7?"
"Ok sounds great!"
"It's a date! See you then."
"Ok! See you!"

Wait...... DATE! Alarms were going off in my head! Reagan just asked me out on a date! Me!? Why me?

I've got to go home and start getting ready!

What was about to happen was really bad because Grace forgot about her and Leo's plan to meet up. While Leo set himself up for disappointment.
