(Y/N) POV:
Me and Steven walked inside and got ready for bed. "Steven..." I said looking in his direction. "What is it?" Steven asked. "Do you think I'll ever find out what type of gem I am?" I asked. "Maybe Pearl could help tomorrow, but if yellow diamond didn't know then I don't know who does," Steven said calmly.
"Can I stay with you tonight?" I asked shyly. "Of course!" Steven said as we both walked in his room. "Goodnight," I said as he pulled the covers over me. We both drifted off to sleep. I woke up but I was in a different place, "hello?!" I yelled. It echoed through the hallways, a gem looked at me.
I noticed the same gem stone as me. "Mother?" I questioned starring at her gem. She looked like she was looking right through me. I turned around to see white diamond. "Remember your duty, go to earth and find rose quartz." White diamond said.
My mom nodded her head and walked to the ship but was stopped by yellow. "I'm sorry but I cannot allow you to go to earth," Yellow said as she poofed my mother.
I closed my eyes and opened them and I noticed I was back in Steven's bed. I looked to the side and saw Steven up already. "Steven, I keep having these weird dreams about my mother," I said worried. "What happened?" Steven asked.
I explained my dream to him, Steven said he thought it was memories of my mother. "If yellow didn't know my gem, then what about white? She's the one who tried to send my mom to earth to kill yours, which sounds really crazy." I explained.
"I don't know if it's a good idea to go back there..." Steven said concerned about what happened last time. "Maybe you could go and ask white to talk alone?" I suggested. "That'll work, hopefully she remembers. She didn't see your gem last time right?"
"She didn't, wait then how did yellow know about me?" I questioned confused. "Well hybrids aren't common, we might even be the only ones," Steven said. "What would happen if a hybrid and another hybrid had a kid?" I questioned.
"Ummm, maybe the kid wouldn't need a gem and just take both of the human sides of the parents or the opposite?" Steven said unsurely. "Why are you asking?" Steven asked. "Pfttt nothing," I chuckled. "Ummm... I'll go talk to white diamond now," Steven said as he kissed me on the forehead and headed off to the warp pad.
