Chapter Thirteen

Sora's POV

I made the first swipe. I ran to him and wiped my sword but he dodged it almost perfectly.
I then swiped again only to be dodged again.
I then swiped again and he dodged. He went behind me. It was like it was in slow motion... then I felt a sharp pain in my back. I fell to my knees.
"Ahhh!" I screamed in pain.
I felt blood trickle down my back and stain my sweater.
I touch my back to feel it, only for it to sting some more.
"Ahh! Argh!"
I brought my hand to me and saw blood on my hand.
I looked back at Riku and he swung again.
It went in slow motion again.
I picked up my wooden sword and hit mine with his.
"S-Stop! R-Riku this isn't you! You would never hurt me!"
"I guess you're wrong."
He then pushed my hold away causing me to stumble backwards. But I didn't fall back.
He then swiped again and hit me in my stomach causing me to fall back.
I cried in pain, holding my stomach.
He then stood over me with his keyblade in hand.
"You're in the way."
Then he held it with two hands above my chest.
"No... please..." I said, tears screaming down my face.
But he didn't listen... He brought the blade down and stabbed me... right threw my heart.
I gasped. My mouth dropped open and my eyes widened. Tears still fell down.
I looked up at him, hurt in my eyes.
"Riku..."
"Riku! Stop!" A man said.
Everything was blurry, I started seeing stars.
My head was spinning and I was losing a lot of blood.
As I took my last breath I saw Roxas running towards me, worry on his face and he was crying. Axel pushed Riku off of me.
The rest I didn't see...
everything turned black and silent.

Riku's POV

"Ughh... W-Where... Am I...?"
I opened my eyes a little and all I saw was blurriness.
Then I saw a man wearing an organization coat and he had red hair.
"A-Axel?... What's going on?..." I said in pain.
My vision cleared and I saw Axel more clearly.
He had sadness on his face... I thought nobody's couldn't feel?
"What...? H-Happend?"
I looked around and saw Roxas... Crying?? And he was holding someone? A keyblade was threw their chest.
Who is it?
I then saw red shorts... Red shorts? RED SHORTS?!
I gasped. My heart stopped.
Oh my god please tell me it's not him...
Tears brewed up in my eyes.
I stood up and slowly walked over to them.
I quickly stopped when I saw his face. I gasped.
"SORA?!"
I fell to my knees, tears quickly rushing down.
"Oh my god..." I cried. I grabbed him from Roxas and looked down at him, still crying.
I started to sob. I brought my head down and cried on his chest.
"No!!" I cried, grasping his sweater.
I looked up at his face and stroked his cheek, while still sobbing.
"Who did this?!!!!" I cried.
"It was you Riku..." Roxas said sadly.
My eyes widen. "W-What?" I cried.
"Ansem took over your body again... and I guess Sora was in the way." Axel said sadly.
"No... No please! There's gotta be a way to bring him back!" I cried.
"Well... I do know someone..." Roxas said.
I shot my head up in hope.
"Y-You do?!"
He nodded.
"Who?!" I cried.
"Her name is Namine. She is a witch. I think she can do something." He said.
I nodded. "It's worth a try."

Roxas brought us to where Namine was. I was holding Sora bridal style.
We walked into the room and she right away laid her eyes on me.
"Riku, I've been waiting for you." She said.
My eyes widen.
"Uh... you were?" I asked confused. I don't even know her?
"I can see the future..." she said.
I stood there awkwardly.

"Bring him here... I might be able to do something." She said.
I set him down on a white table slowly, not wanting to let him go.
I stood closely to him, holding his hand.
She did some weird shit, I don't even know what, then she made eye contact with me.
"I can bring him back... but it might take some time."
"How long?" I asked.
"Could take years... I would say around 4 years?"
"4 years?!" I yelled.
She nodded.
I looked down at Sora sadly.
"Are you sure it'll work?" I asked sadly, not looking away from Sora.
"I'm sure." She said.
I nodded. "It's worth a try..."

Roxas' POV

I asked for alone time with Sora. Everyone left the room.
I walked to the table that Sora was on. I looked at him sadly.
"Hey Sora..."
I grabbed his hand and held it.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you."
Tears formed in my eyes.
I looked back at the door and saw Riku watching through the little window on the door. He looked serious, like he was making sure I didn't do anything.
I looked back at Sora.
"I promise you... I won't let anything bad happen to you again."
I squeezed his hand.
"I like you Sora... I'm not quite sure if it's more then a friend... But I'm pretty sure it is..."
Then there was a knock on the door. I looked back and Riku was looking at me. He tapped his wrist, gesturing that i'm out of time.
I nodded.
"I'll see you soon Sora..."
I caressed his cheek softly and they walked in.

Riku's POV

I was carrying Sora bridal style as Namine brought us to this big room with this pod floating in the middle.

"He goes in there." She said.
I nodded.

I stood at the opening of the pod.
I was terrified to let him go... I really need this to work.
"I'm sorry Sora... I'm so sorry..." Tears formed in my eyes again.
My legs were trembling, my heart was racing.
"I know four years is a lot... but I'll wait for you, I promise you, I'll be here when you wake up. And maybe when you wake up, I can explain everything... I love you so much Sora." Finally the tears spilled down my cheeks one by one.

"Riku... We should hurry before it's too late." Namine said.
I took a shaky breath and nodded.
I slowly set him down in the pod, once his feet touched the ground, his body floated up.
Tears were still falling down.
I stepped back as the pod closed, I got one last look at him before it shut completely.
