CHAPTER 7
Albert Grows Up Plants
While we are walking back to the sorcery school, I noticed that the other witches were going to the school holding their books.
“May I ask you something?” he asked.
“Sure, what’s that?”
“Um, How old are you?” he asked.
“I’m 13, why?” I said.
“Aren’t you too young?” he said “I mean Larius told me that you’re in third year.”
“Yes, I’m in third year. Is there a problem?” I asked.
“No, in fact were classmates.”
“How old are you presently?”
“I’m 15, but why presently?”
“I thought witches are immortal.”
“But I’m not still immortal.” He said.
“How?”
“You can be immortal when you had defeated the black witch that is destined for you to kill. After that, you’ll receive a blessing from our Goddess and she’ll make you immortal by giving you a magic potion.” He explained.
“What if, somebody drink the potion even if he or she doesn’t even defeat yet the black witch?” I asked.
“That wouldn’t happen. The potion will just have an effect to the right person. Even if you drink it, you will not be an immortal if you don’t defeat the black witch.”
“So, not all witches are immortal.” I said.
“Yes.”
“Then, who are you going to kill to become an immortal?”
“I don’t know but Sheryll said I’ll find out when the right time comes.” He said.
“And who I’m going to defeat?”
“I bet it’s a powerful one because you’re powerful. But still… we’ll find out.
“Who are the other witches that are immortal?” I asked.
“Larius, he defeated the past black witches king. And Sheryll. She defeated the past queen of the black witches.”
“Who?” I asked.
“The one replaced by Aradia. I don’t remember the name but Sheryll does. She’s one of our teachers.” He said.
“Wait, Sheryll is a teacher here?”
“Yes, she teaches about witchcrafts.”
“So that’s why she taught me about Stregheria. To make me ready for my fate of being a witch.”
“Do you believe now?”
“Well sort of.” I said.
“What do you mean sort of?” he asked.
“I need to know more, understand?”
“Okay, let’s go so we don’t get late.” He said.
We entered a big, bulky room. Inside, there were tall tables and tall chairs with some liquid solutions on the table. I noticed that the table and chairs weren’t new, so I guess no one tried to explode it or I’ll be the one to destroy them.
Maybe it’s still early because no students were inside except the two of us.
“Let’s sit over there”. Albert said pointing at the two seats at the back corner.
