Blues P.O.V :
I was pleasantly surprised by the diamond line ringing, just relaxing in my ship. I hadn't gotten a call from Yellow for 100 light-years, yet I knew I had to act tough. I didn't want too, even though I still had feelings for her, I couldn't show any sort of me missing her. Tough... right. Answering the phone, she looked surprised. She had been crying, streaks going down her eyes. It hurt seeing her like that.. she said hello, voice shaky and yet surprised and almost happy to see me.
"B-blue.. he-hey..."
"Yellow."
"I-i.. I wanted t-to a-apolo..."
"There's nothing to apologize for Yellow, I'm quite glad to see you again. It's been a while sense I've heard your voice. How are you?"
Instead of perking up like I thought, she tilted her head down.
"Yellow?"
"I-it's been hard h-here..."
"What do you mean?"
Straightening up in my seat, I needed to know why she was crying. This was important, her well being is important.
"W-white's been.. w-well.. you know h-how white is.."
She basically whispered. Trying to hide her voice from someone almost.
"Is someone there with you Yellow?"
I asked sternly, her stiffening up, getting ready to cry.
"I-i..."
Looking at her gem, just barely in shot, It looked.. different. Something was off. Her hands trembling, looking around frantically, something was up.
"Yellow.. what's wrong? What's going on there?!"
"S-shh.. you're b-being loud.. she'll h-hear you.."
"I'm coming."
"N-no! D-don't..."
"I'll see you soon."
Something weird was going on. She'd never been like this. Never THIS secretive. Something was going on that she couldn't tell me. And if I know anything about Yellow, she doesn't keep secrets from me. She basically told me everything. Like a little blabber mouth, couldn't keep a secret.
It only took about an hour to arrive there, going as fast as possible of course. Arriving at Yellows court, she was nowhere. My gems flabbergasted, and shocked they just stared. Turning to her pearl, I spoke sternly and loud. Not caring who heard me.
"Where is Yellow."
"B-blue Diamond! My honor. Shall I-"
"Where is she. That's an order to tell me."
She leaned in, not wanting to be heard.
"White Diamond.. but you heard nothing from me.. right?"
I nodded, looking at Whites head. I can't believe I'm doing this shit. I really am an idiot at times. Climbing up this fucking head...it didn't take long to reach the top though. Climbing in I saw Yellow, sitting in some sort of chair, working like always.
"Yellow!"
She jerked her head, eyes wide, bruises all over her.
"Blue.. leave. Leave like you did all those years ago.. please. You can't be here... you're just going to leave again... go away. It hurts.."
I ran over, putting my hand on her gem.. oh Yellow.. tears falling down both of our faces, I hugged her. Her gem illuminating warmth, light. She sobbed in my shoulder, I could feel her grasping onto my robe, she'd been in silence for so long. She didn't loosen her grip, and neither did I. She cried hard, feeling her cold skin, grabbing her hand. I blocked out her shock, not even one surprised word was said. She just cried. I ran my fingers through her hair, then down her back. She didn't want to let go, and I could tell. She was silent, with short whispers in between.
"Yellow.. stop crying... it's okay..."
She just grabbed on tighter, whispering "sorry, I'm sorry." Then it hit me. I complained she never let me mourn, never cry. Yet now I'm telling my her to stop.
"Actually.. don't stop. It's okay.. I can't tell you how to feel."
Taking my hood off, she just stared in awe. Tears running down her face.
"w-why are you s-so beautiful..?"
She looked at me, eyes almost glowing.
"That's what I should be asking you."
I ran my fingers down her cheek, where she'd been crying.
"Why so sad?"
"i..."
Smiling at her, she blushed a light Yellow, barley even visible.
"Yellow..! Your gem!"
The crack was healing, as if never existing. We stared in awe, her holding my hand still, us not even noticing before that.
"oh.. erm.. i uh"
I chuckled nervously. I enjoyed it.
"Ehe.. I guess erm..."
"Blue... I.."
She stood in thought, face deep orange.
"We've been friends for a while.. before this whole thing... the light-years and such.. And I've found myself to... be attracted to you?"
"We have grown to be close Yellow..."
"Awfully close.. and we're great friends.."
"Yes?"
"I... I think I love you Blue."
"And I think I love you too Yellow."
I cried, her wiping tears off my face.
"I know this is sudden..."
I smiled, embracing her warmth.
"So..."
I kissed her, pulling her in, she didn't hesitate. Her soft lips on mine, she let go a few seconds after.
"Mhm mh."
I pulled her back into the kiss, I'd waited for this forever. She didn't hesitate to kiss longer, and after a minute we let go, her having blue lipstick all over her lips. She held onto my hips, feeling my curves. I chuckled, holding onto her shoulders. I began singing,
"Moon river, wider than a mile
I'm crossing you in style some day
Dream-maker, you old heart-breaker
Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way.."She began to sing along, off key, but still singing. Eventually waltzing, she held onto my waist tightly, us both smiling like idiots.
"What about White?"
"She's just gonna have to deal.. she'll live."
She laughed, obviously happy. Trying to calm down, she spoke.
"Seriously though... she doesn't even know you're back."
"Then we'll go tell her!"
"W-what?! No way! She'll shatter me!"
"What do you mean? She can't!"
"I-i.. I wasn't supposed to t-tell you that.."
We made our way to where White was. I was ready to beat her ass at this point.
"White Diamond.."
