Mornings

Derek's POV

Even when she was sleeping she was effortlessly beautiful. It was a perfect moment.The sun rays blanketed  her skin.Her brown hair was messily swept across her face but she somehow managed to make that look adorable. Her head was nuzzled against my chest as her arms wrapped around me. I brushed her hair back admiring her beauty. Her long eyelashes fluttered and  like a newborn, she slowly opened her eyes stretching the corner of her mouth into a smile.

"Good morning," she said tightening the grip on me.

"Good morning my sunshine." I said dreamily. She reaches over to me as we embark in a short but passionate kiss.

How could I be so fortunate to be with such an amazing girl? 

After a few moments of cuddling together, she gets up to throw on of my old t-shirts. She looks so cute in my clothing.

"Awww..," I whine not wanting to let go of such a precious moment. She jokingly sticks her tounge out at me.

"Your such a cutie." I say with a grin.

She flashes me a wide smile before entering the kitchen. I trail behind her curious to see what she is up to. I enter the kitchen to see cooking materials spread out.

"Whatcha doin?" I ask.

"Making my love some breakfast," she replies back. I sneak behind her grabbing her by the waist. I start singing to her in a deep voice. "Oh my sweet Bethany." 'Oh my darling Bethany." my voice booms as I sing those notes. She laughs rolling her eyes at me. "You are one silly guy." She springs onto the countertop wrapping her arms around me as she bites her lip. I cup her hands in mine encircling my thumb across her palm. I playfully stroke her upper lip and we fall into a deep kiss. At last,we pull away flirtatiously giggling at one another.

"Do you want to play some music?" I ask Bethany with a grin.

"Why not?"

So, I head over to my radio station and the song "Lips Are Movin'" starts playing.

Bethany's eyes widen as soon as the song begins. She starts to to dance her way around the kitchen shaking her hips in a circular moment, and I join her. She takes the wooden spatula and mimics it as a microphone. My head dips back from laughter. She is so cute.

She giggles, as I spin her around like the princess she is. I dip her back dramatically. She turns around and sticks her hand in the pancake mix applying that on my nose.

"Oh no you didn't little missy." A joking pity expression appears on her face.

I do the same to her but this time smearing a little on her bottom lip. 

"Oh it's on Derek," Bethany says narrowing her eyes.

This means war.
