I pouted as I rolled around my bed. I can't seem to sleep.

Suddenly my phone received a message.

Jimin:
Hi.

I didn't even know that he got by number. When did we exchange?

You:
Hey

Jimin:
I can't sleep

You:
Me either

Jimin:
You too?

You:
Yup

You:
Can I ask you
something?

Jimin:
Yeah?

You:
What do you mean by
what you said before?

Jimin:
What I said?

You:
'I won't let anyone get hurt
again because of me.'

Jimin:
Ahh

Jimin:
It's nothing.

You:
You sure?

Jimin:
Of course.

Jimin:
Why can't you sleep?

You:
I just can't.

Jimin:
How about I sing?

You:
In text?

Jimin:
Of course not, I'll call.

I left him on seen and waited till his name appeared in my phone screen.

Incoming Call
Jimin
Answer           Decline

"Are you still there?" His voice greeted me while I hummed as reply. "There's nothing that I can possibly offer to you except this"

"You don't really need to offer me anything" I replied at him and turn around in my bed.

"But I felt bad when I pushed you away before" I can hear his voice saddened. "When all you want is to help."

I sighed at his worried tone. He doesn't really have anything to be worried about. "It already happened in past, you don't need to worry about that"

He become silent for a while. I can hear his soft breathing on the other line while I close my eyes.

I think I can fall asleep with just the sounds of his breathing.

"I modeungeon uyeoni anya
Geunyang geunyang naye neukkimeuro" I breath softly as I felt his voice vibrated through my body. "On sesangi eojewan dalla, Geunyang geunyang neoye gippeumeuro"

My eyes fluttered open at the familiar song.

How does he know this?

Setting aside the thought, I closed my eyes again and enjoyed his soft voice. "Gidaryeotteon geotcheoreom
Uri shiridorok pyeo
Eojjeomyeon geuraetteon geoya"

He's still the jimin that I know.

"You know I know" he paused for a moment. "Neoneun na naneun neo"

In Just a few seconds, my completely awake eyes started to become heavy. I turn to the other side, still keeping my phone in my ear.

"Seolleneun mankeum mani duryeowo
Umyeongi uril jakku jiltuhaesseo" he continued singing the beatiful song with his beautiful voice. "Neomankeum nado Mani museowo"

"When you see me" I ran my hand in my hair before making my self comfortable with the pillow. "When you touch me"

I should have recorded it from the start.

"Ujuga uril wihae umjigyeosseo
Jogeume eotmanjocha eopseosseo" I stared the record button in my phone as I heard him continue his song. "Neowa nae haengbogeun yejeongdwaetdeongeol"

"Cause you love me" the meaning of the song is so beautiful. Yet not for me. "And I love you, y/n"

I can barely heard what he said when my eyes finally gave up on me.

"Sweet dreams, goodnight."

This is probably the clichiest chapter so far😂😂
