Chapter 14

"Y/n, wake up."

I slurred in my sleep as I heard my name being called out. I whined in response as I felt my shoulder being lightly hit.

"Your friend is downstairs" I can hear my mother said but it seems like I can't understand anything at the moment.

Why do it feels like I'm asleep for just a mere seconds?

I whined again before feeling my arms getting hit, but not so lightly anymore.

I immediately sat up and rubbed my hurted arm as I faced my mother. "Eomma.."

She gave me a stern look that suddenly change into a teasing one. "Didn't tell me you have a handsome friend huh?"

I gave her a questioning look as I tried to sink in the information.

Who can possibly that friend handsome man?

I tilted my head as I tried to think but an idea suddenly crossed my mind making me jolt up in my seat.

It can't be...

"Is that the guy you ask me about before?" My mother asked as I make my way to the bathroom, trying to make my self at least a little bit presentable. "He's the guy you wanted to help aren't he?"

Mom continued teasing while I roll my eyes playfully. "Mom, not now"

I tried to fix my tangle hair as I enter the bathroom. "Tell him to wait for me"

My mom just continued giving me knowing looks before leaving the room.

Oh my goodness.

And that's when I decided to do everything as fast as I can.

I walk down the stairs and saw him talking with my mother, a jacket in his lap, in the living room.

He's looking really fresh than the other days that I saw him. He turned his head to me. "Hi y/n"

"Hey jimin" I greeted him back. "Have you eaten? Let's have breakfast"

My mom turned her head to me and secretly gave me a thumbs up which I clearly know what was for.

"Thank you" jimin replied before following behind me and my mother to the kitchen.

We all have our seat with my mother looking at jimin like a hawk with a smile on her face.

I don't know what she's about but base on her movements, I know she's eager to know more about the young man in front of her.

Never know my mom would be like this, even in a game.

"So.. Where do you live again?" and there she goes. Starts asking jimin question of his life.

"Just a few block from here" jimin answered after he gulped his food down.

My mom nodded her head and was about to shove a spoon of food in her mouth before asking once again. "What is your parents job?"

Jimin smiled at my mom before answering. "They have a small business"

Mom looked at her plate and turn her head back at him. "How do you met my daughter?"

Before jimin could answer, I stood up as I already finished my food. "Come on, jimin"

Both of them look at me as I gave the guy a sign for us to leave.

I didn't bother to know if jimin finished his food because I know he already eaten. He just didn't reject my offer because he don't want to sound rude.

"Y/n, he's still eating" my mom tried to stop me but jimin seems to get my message.

"No Mrs. Lee," he put his spoon down and look at me before looking back at my mom and giving her his eye smile. "I'm finished."

My mom suddenly chuckled.

"OK then young man" mom stood up and follow us out, she grabbed a jacket from our sofa and handed it to me. "It's cold outside and please take care of my daughter"

Jimin gave my mother a 90 degrees bow before waving at her. "I will"

"You better do" mom pointed a finger at the guy who smiled in response making my mom giggle. "Alright. take care, both of you"

"Bye mom!" I shouted while struggling to get my jacket on when we're already a few house away. Then I turned to jimin. "I'm sorry for that"

He gave me a smile in response.

"Its fine, I had fun talking with your mom" he replied making me raise an eyebrow.

"What did you two talk about?" My suspicion raise more as he started to giggle.

I swear if its about my childhood days.

"It's nothing" and then he laughed.

I knew it.

This is a really short one.

I just got asked by my sister yesterday if I'm going crazy because I have been jumping up and down in our bed while screaming like a highschool student who just got her first kiss.
