Chapter 48

"H-hoseok?" I stuttered while looking at him.

"Wae? You sounds surprised." He giggle a bit. "But how's your head ache? Miko says it's bad."

"Uhm..." I stuttered again, obviously don't know how to respond. "I-it's f-fine."

Oh shoot it's not.

"Really? But I think you should still drink a few of these since you passed out because of that headache." He pulled out the medicines from the paper bag. "Gotta make sure it's not coming back again."

I just nodded, unable and too flustered to say anything at all. I'm still recovering from the first shock and here comes the second. Not really something that I could appreciate specially with this throbbing head.

I don't even understand a thing that he's saying.

Oh goodness gracious please help me.

I accepted the bottle from his hands although I just drank one earlier. Whatever, I'm gonna need this anyways. Better of pour this all over my head then maybe I'll get back to my right mind.

He handed me the medicine before someone knocked in the door once again.

"Guys, I already settled everything with y/n's mother." Miko greeted with a smile. "We're seriously dead."

I saw Hoseok biting his lips while turning around to face me. "That's for sure."

Wait... What's up with mom?

I shifted my eyes at both of them who's sharing a knowing look.

I don't get it.

Instead of asking anything, I just drank the medicine before setting the water in the table beside my bed.

The two of them silently exited the room leaving me confused and bewildered. Obviously in trance, my eyes landed on the watch on my left wrist, sitting there in all it's glory. Oblivious of how crazy it makes me for the past few weeks.

I closed my eyes once again, finally trying to sync everything in my small mind, wishing it'll fit every details I'd like to remember. Till I'm back home.

I can feel different emotions in me. I feel sad, happy, excited and upset. Everything somehow makes me feel like I'm in a different world that feels like home. It feels like I'm safe whatever I do in a stage that wasn't mine. The satisfaction of getting full, eating a food that wasn't for me.

So right yet so wrong.

I shake my thoughts out of my head and tried getting up. The headache oddly gone and long forgotten as I made my way to the room's balcony.

I breath a fresh chilly air like I would do every now and then before releasing all my frustrations and thoughts in one sigh.

Okay, I'm ready.

I woke up again in a completely different surroundings. This time, I stood up, not caring whose room is this or where am I. I just went directly out the door to find my mother in front of two familiar people.

Miko and.... Hoseok?

I made my way towards them catching the attention of all three of them.

"You're  awake." Mom was the first one to speak, immediately standing up.  "Are you okay now?"

I smiled at her as a response and then shrugged.  "completely, mother."

She gave me a side glare before speaking.  "Don't throw me that smile after you just passed out."

I let out a small chuckle before facing the other two who seems very silent and a bit... scared?

Wait is this our house?

The thought had me looking around the not so big but aren't so small either house. It was a bungalow with two rooms. A simple kitchen, a living room and a dining room.

"You guys okay?" I asked the two as soon as I landed my eyes back on them. 

Both of them nodded at me but never said anything. Just simple, or maybe even forced smile while they look skeptically at the other person beside me. 

"Excuse me for a minute,  I'll prepare food so we can all have a dinner." Mom excused her self making the two straightened their body at the same time. Almost as if practiced.

Weird.

Once my mother is out of the sight,  I heard two deep sigh of relief from both Miko and Hoseok.

"Goodness, y/n your mother is really scary." The words from the jet black hair somehow reminds me of someone who said the exact same thing. Exactly the same.

Miko leaned in.  "I know she's very kind but I don't wanna face her when she's being this protective. I can't  handle it."

"Nah, you guys will be fine." I shaked my hands in front of them. "Mom doesn't eat."

"Her eyes could." The only guy in the room spoke up, shuddering as he thought of it. "I understand her though. If my son would just suddenly pass out I might be following him to the hospital in a stretcher as well."

I slightly laugh at his exaggerated story while Miko slapped him in the shoulder.

"If that happens expect me to be there and choke you." She said while rolling her eyes. "I'll  give you an even more decent death than just hitting your head in the floor."

That's when I choke a loud laugh,  catching the attention of the other two. There's  something about the atmosphere that just made me feel so light headed.

Maybe because of the post head ache.

Or maybe because of my confusion of what is happening, but the two just looked at me life I have two heads or something.

"She's finally gone crazy." I heard Miko said as she looked at hoseok. "She didn't even hit her head when she passed out, I managed to catch her before she hit the floor."

"What did the house call doctor said?" The guy asked her in response.  They talked as if I'm never there as I just continue laughing my ass out.

I'm not even sure what's funny.

Maybe. Maybe I have really gone crazy.

I mean, who wouldn't?

Another update!!

I'm sorry about yesterday though 😂My mom thought I got possessed cause I keep laughing while doing my activities LMAO. The comments and the six legendary votes made it all worth it. 😂

I'm really really sorry for not updating for a long long time again. I'm just a 16 years old student. Please bear with me.

I know this chapter wasn't the best but I'm not at my best mind either so I won't be able to do any editing anytime soon.(maybe in 10 years or something 🥴)

And for those who are asking of when I'm gonna update. I'm worst than sykkuno's instagram. I post once every two months.
