Chapter 45

I sat at the store bench, lightly tapping my foot in the pavement as I grow impatient. The sun is already peeking and slightly hitting the side of my face as I sat near the glass wall, the paper bag with my previous clothes is sitting right beside me.

Being bathed and feeling fresh is somehow making me dizzy and sleepy. So I ended up leaning my head back while closing my eyes.

Thankfully, the staff of the store is really kind. Instead of shooing us away like a normal person would do, they helped us pick some clothes and even made us enter the staff room so we can wash up. I don't think a normal person would do that kind of thing with our look a few hours ago.

Due to limited budget, which is from Taehyung anyways, I only be able to get a jogger pants paired with a hanging blouse. I'm not really comfortable with the top but I'm not complaining either, cause I seriously look like a dancer right now.

I slightly bang my head on the glass when I remember how I sneaked an underwear to the counter so Taehyung won't see. That was seriously epic. The small smile that the staff had on her face while packing is still hunting me.

"You okay?" I opened my eyes to look up at the owner of the deep voice.

"Of cou-" I cut my own sentence.

WHAT THE- HOLY MOLY MOTHER OF GUACAMOLE-

My mouth drops open at the sight of him standing infront of me.

Is it just me? Or he's wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans while looking so godly?

I gulped as I felt my cheeks heating up. I don't know what to do nor can I move. For the millionth time, Taehyung just attacked my poor heart with his natural visual.

"Of co?" I got snapped out of my thought and immediately shakes my head before looking straight down.

"Ofco.... Ofco? What- ah. I mean, I'm fine! Of course I'm fine! Why wouldn't I?" I stuttered before standing up, slightly tapping my thighs before leaving the store.

Gosh what's happening to me?? I thought  I can act like a normal person with them? Or maybe because I was too caught up with things before?

Even though it's still summer, some rain water on the road proven the rainfall  the other day. I immediately turn to right as I remember it's where we came from.

"Hey!" I heard him running towards my walking figure, holding an identical paper bag as mine. "I just paid your clothes and you'll walk out to me?"

"Oh, I'm sorry." I mumbled without looking at him, afraid that he'll see my red cheeks.

"That doesn't sound sincere~" he continued talking.

"Okay then." I took a deep breath before facing him, ignoring my red cheeks and forcing my lips in a thin line so I won't look like a dumb with my wide and creepy smile. "I'm sorry, and thank you for my clothes."

He looked stunned for a moment before looking away and puckering his lips. "You must be thank you cause I just spended all my money today."

I got surprised when he grabbed my wrist and turn to me. "You know what? I won't accept your thank you."

He gave me an serious and blank face which somehow scared me.

"What?" I look at him confused and dumbfounded.

"Do you have money enough for two ice creams?" He ask me with a serious face.
