Chapter 7

The detention just ended and jimin is nowhere to be seen. As soon as the discipline teacher dismissed us, he took his bag and ran to the door like a madman.

I went to follow him but rinhwa held me back telling me to explain.

And believe me, explaining to her is not that easy.

She gave me a strict look. "Really? Nothing's happening between the both of you?"

"Yah! Why would you think something's happening? It's just my 2nd day here! You punk." I judged before taking my bag with me and walking to the door but rinhwa just followed me.

"Well, that's what happened in drama. When something happens, one of us would avoid and hide if they see the other. It's mostly girls though" she make a thinking face making me hit her head hard.

"Didn't I tell you to not make realities in dramas?" I scolded while she just rub her head.

"You're being violent, THAT'S PHYSICAL HARRASTMENT!" She pointed at me but I swat her hands away. "And when did you say such things? I don't think I heard it before..."

"You really have a poor memory.." I pointed out and sighed. "But I need to follow him."

"Then go, be his knight and shining armor" she teased.

"You're so cliché" I nudge her. "But will you be fine alone?"

"Yeah, its not that someone's gonna bully me or something." She smiled before pushing me forward. "Go or you'll be too late to follow"

And with that, I ran to find him.

I panted with both of my hands in my knees.

He's really doing his best to walk fast isn't he?

I look at him who's walking or more like running a few meters away from me.

"PARK JIMIN!" I tried yelling but instead of stopping, he fasten his steps making it impossible for me to catch up.

I shouldn't have shouted.

I sighed, giving up. "Y/n"

I look at my side only to see a guy looking at me.

"Come on, you need to follow jimin aren't you?" He ask in his bicycle.

"Who are you?" I just look at him, not moving from my position with still bended back.

"It's not important right now, you need to follow him so get on,"

I still didn't move so he gave me a hand. "Don't worry, I won't do anything to you"

Hesitatingly, I slowly get on his back and put my hands on his shoulder but he remove it and wrap it in his waist instead. "Safety first"

He started to cycle fast almost making me fall from the bicycle but thanks to my arms around his waist, I didn't.

Soon, he stopped, a few meters away from jimin and let me ran to him before cycling away. "We'll see each other again."

Ignoring him, I ran towards my priority and held his wrist "why are you running away?"

"I'm not" he stubbornly answered without even looking at me.

"You are," I scoffed and continued. "I told you I would protect you and you're avoiding me?"

"Can't you see?! I don't need you!" He pulled his wrist in my hands. "You know how ridiculous it is? A girl protecting a boy? Get out of your imagination will you?!"

"I won't, even if you yelled at me. Even if yiou pushed me away." I spoke. "Stop pretending that you're okay on your own?!"

He went silent for a moment before turning around and walking away. "I won't let anyone get hurt again because of me."

He just whispered but I heard it. Something did happened before.

I need to know it.

I was rolling around my bed when my wrist watch suddenly glowed.

There's only 5 days left! Have you improve your relationship?
