Chapter 3: Waking up in Hospital

I went off to find Lee so we could get the rest of the ingredients. I walked towards the great hall. I walked into the great hall. It was about lunch time and most people were in the great hall. I saw Lee sitting and eating by himself. I went up behind him as he took a sip of water, I yelled boo. He threw his cup into the air. The water tipped out and soaked Lee completely. Everyone burst out laughing. "Really George!" Lee cried. I sat down next to him. "You know Lee you really should dry off." I laughed. "Ha Ha very funny." I watched as he looked around. "Where is your other half?" "Oh, you know in the hospital wing." Lee turned towards me. "What the bloody hell is he doing there?" "Oh, he and I took Rose to the hospital wing." "You do realize you are not making this any better?" "I'll explain later but we need to go and get some supplies." Lee just sighed. "Fine, what do we need?"

After about six hours of searching, bribing and 'borrowing'. We had finally had everything. "Well I am starving." Lee said to me as we headed into the great hall for dinner. Lee and I went and sat near the trio and Ginny. "Hey where have you two been?" Ginny asked us as we sat down "And isn't there one of you missing?" "We have been out and has Fred not come back from the hospital wing?" "Umm no. I haven't seen him or Rose all day." Ginny said with a confused face. "Come on let's go get them." I said and took hold of Ginny's hand. Lee got up to follow as well. "Go where George?" "Come on I'll explain on the way." As we headed to the hospital wing I explained to Ginny and Lee what had happened early this morning.

Rose Prov

I opened my eyes and a white light blinded me. I lifted my hand to cover my eyes. Where am I? I sat up slowly and winced as my headed started to pound. I saw that I was in the hospital wing. I looked around and saw Fred asleep in the chair next to me with my diary open on his lap. "Fred." I said to him. He didn't move. I called his name three times. I rolled my eyes at him. I looked to the bed side table and saw a cup of water. I picked it up and threw the water at Fred. He woke up with a startle and fell off the chair. I burst out laughing. Fred got up and glared at me. He had water dripping down his face. "I do love your wake-up calls." He said in a sarcastic voice. "Well next time I call to you, wake up." I laughed. He stuck out his tongue at me. "How is your head?" He asked with a smile. "It's pounding but I'll live I am sure." "Well I am glad you are going to live. I mean what would I do with my Holmes?" He asked with a smile. "I don't know fail maybe." I said with a laugh. Fred laughed as well. I looked around the Hospital wing and saw no one else there. It was just Fred and I. "Umm..." Fred began I looked at him and he was about to continue but the Hospital wing doors opened and in came George, Ginny and Lee. Ginny ran straight up to me. "Oh my gosh Rose, I have been looking for you the whole day. I was so worried, and I then find out these dimwits put you in the Hospital wing and don't even tell me. She said an annoyed voice at the twins while hugging me. "Don't worry Gin. I'll live I promise." I smiled. Before anyone replied Madam Pomfrey came rushing in. "What is going on in here?!" She said to us. "We came to see how Rose is doing." Ginny replied. "No, no, no. All of you out while I do my last check-up. You can wait outside for Mrs Holmes." No one argued and all left to wait outside.

Madam Pomfrey did her last check and I walked out the door were just Fred sat. "Where is everyone else?" I asked. "They went to grab us dinner before it is all gone." I just nodded my head and we headed to the great hall. Once we got there, we heard everyone in the great hall talking and having a good time with friends. Fred grabbed my hand and led me towards Lee, Ginny and George. I sat in between the twins. We all sat eating and chatting about our day and all homework we had received for the weekend. Once desert had been served my head was pounding and all I wanted to do was go and lay down. I was trying to keep up with the conversation, but I was battling. "Hey you okay?" Fred whispered in my ear. "Yeah, I am just feeling a bit tired." I answered quietly. He moved closer. "You can lie on my shoulder if you like?" I smiled at him. "Thank you." I said as I rested my head on his shoulder. I started to close my eyes. I not sure how long it was until I felt Fred call my name. I opened my eyes and he was telling me it was time to go. I got up slowly. As I stood up, I felt a wave of dizziness wash over me and I started to fall back but Fred caught me and held me straight up. "Are you alright?" George asked me in a worried voice as he helped Fred steady me. "Yeah, I think I am fine I just fell a bit dizzy." Fred came closer and picked me up bridal style. "Well then I'll just carry you." He said. "Don't worry about me I'll be fine." Before I could say anymore Cedric appeared. "Rose, are you alright!" He said in a panicked voice. "I am fine Ced. Just don't shout. I hit my head earlier and just feel a bit dizzy." "Oh, Rose you should go to the Hospital wing." He said. "I did and I was there the whole day. There is nothing Madam Pomfrey can do for this. I just need sleep."

"Oh Rose, what are we going to do with you?" He said shaking his head. He then turned to the twins. I was still in Fred's arms and George stood there with was water goblet that he had been handing me. "Look after her or be put six feet underground." He said in a serious tone. "Don't worry Mr overprotective. We have got her." Fred said while rolling his eyes. I rolled my eyes at them. Cedric gave him a glare and then gave me a kiss on the forehead "Goodnight Rosie, please be careful." Then he left. "Well come on Rosie we better get you to bed." I nodded my head and put my head against Fred's chest as we walked. I felt my eyes slowly close and then I don't remember anything else.
