The whole hall was consumed with protest over Harry being selected. I watched as Hermione push Harry off the bench and sent him to the front of the hall. Harry did the walk of shame down the hall to the front where Dumbledore stood. Dumbledore pointed him in the direction towards the chamber where all the other champions where sent. Once Harry was through the door Dumbledore called for silence. "Now all of you will return to your dorms. Have a good night." He and the rest of the staff then headed with speed into the chamber where all the champions had gone. Everyone started to move out of the great hall and back to there dorms. I walked with the twins, Lee, Ron and Hermione back to the common room. "I can't believe that git!" Ron shouted in anger. "I am his best mate and he didn't even tell me!" "Come on Ron you don't seriously believe that Harry put his name in that goblet." I stated while walking in between the twins. "Why are you defending him. Cedric made it in. Surely you would be cross because now Harry has taken Cedric glory." Ron sneered at me. "I cant believe you Ronald!" I stopped dead in my tracks this making very one stop just in front of me. "Harry is you friend. He is probably scared and unsure of what is going to happen to him and here you are talking bad about him and hating him. People bloody well die in this tournament! I am pretty sure that Harry doesn't want to be in this tournament anymore then you want him to be in it. You are actually this git." I shouted and stormed off in front of everyone.

I watched as Rose stormed away. She really was angry. If you hadn't figured it out by her tone of voice, then her eyes definitely showed it. They were redder then our Gryffindor scarf. "Now you've done it Ron you pissed the beast off." Lee said with a smirk. "Well it's not my fault she is being completely idiotic. Saying that Harry didn't purposely put his name in the goblet." Ron huffed. I felt a bit of anger rise in me as I heard Ron call rose idiotic. "Hey, watch your mouth Ronald. Just because you are acting like a big baby, does not give you the right to insult Rose." I snapped at him. I then began to speed up my pace to catch up with Rose. I arrived at the common room and found Rose sitting on the couch reading one of her books. "Hey, Dragon." Rose looked up from her book at my words. "Hey, sorry I snapped at your brother just now." She said in shy voice. "Ah he deserved it you were right he was being a right git." I watched as Rose closed, her book and giggled at what I said. "I think I am going to head down to the kitchens and get some hot chocolate. Would you care to join me?" "I would like that very much." Rose said. And off we went to the kitchens. We walked through the dark corridors. I watched Rose walk beside me. She seemed to be lost in thought. I looked closely as what she was wearing and noticed she was wearing my jumper I had given her. I smiled at this.

I then looked down to her feet and realised she was just in her socks. I burst out laughing. I watched as she quickly turned to look at me. "You know Fred the first sign on madness is laughing at completely nothing." She laughed. "I have always been mad, but I am not laughing a nothing. Are you just wearing socks?" I watched as her cheeks started to gain s red colour. "Yeah well I took off my shoes and only realised once we were out of the common room." She laughed. "Are your feet not cold?" "They are a bit but Ill be fine." I stopped in my tracks and stood in front of Rose. "What are you doing Freddie?" "Come on hop on my back and Ill give you a ride." Rose jumped on my back and we continued on our way to the kitchens. We grabbed the hot chocolate and Rose directed me to her favourite spot in the castle. As we got closer, I realised it was the same spot where George and I had jumped on Rose a couple of weeks ago. I placed rose down on the floor and she went behind the statue and I followed her. We sat down on the ledge facing each other. Our legs were over each other. Rose had opened the window and we looked out into the ground of Hogwarts. "So, this is where you come to think?" "Yup, I found the spot in first year and I have come here ever since when I just needed to think." "I see well, I think it is definitely a good spot to come and think." "You are more then welcome to use if you know ever need to think" Rose said shyly. "Thank you I think I will." I said with a small smile. We held each other's gaze for a bit until Rose looked away. "I think we should head back to the common room before we are found out of bed." I just nodded and off we went back to the common room. Before we went to bed Rose hugged me. "Thank you for the adventure Fred." I squeezed her tighter. "Goodnight Rose. See you in the morning." She gave me one last smile and headed off to bed. "She really is something else." I said quietly to myself and then headed off to bed.

After the long couple of weeks defending Harry and trying to get everyone to see reason as well as classes and homework. It was finally the weekend and all I wanted to do was be alone. The twins were serving detention for their latest prank, Ginny was with some of her other friends and Cedric was busy with interviews because of the tournament. I walked out the great big doors down to the lake. I found a shady spot under a big tree and sat down under it. I opened my book and started to write about the events that had taken place that week. I was deep in thought when someone walked past in front of me. I looked up and saw one of the Dumstrange boys walk past me. He looked like he was upset and angry about something. He picked up a rock and threw it into the lake. He called out in frustration. I don't think he knew I was there. I slowly and quietly got up, but I stumbled a bit and fell over.

He quickly turned around with anger present on his face, but it quickly disappeared, and he ran over to me. "I didn't startle you, did I?" "Not at all I didn't want to disturb you." I watched as he looked into my eyes. "Your eyes, they are changing!" he said excitedly like a child in a toy store. His eyes almost sparkled as he looked at my eyes. He helped me up. "Umm yeah they tend to do that." I said with a shy smile. "They have gone a purple colour." I smiled at his amazement. "Your eyes are beautiful." He said without breaking eye contact. "Thank you." I said as I felt my cheeks go a bit red. I looked away. He quickly shook his head. It was as though he was shaking his head out of the daydream my eyes had put him in. "Well my name is Dimitri." He said and extended his hand for me to shake. "My name is Rosalie, but everyone calls me Rose." I said as I shook his hand. "So, what are you doing here by yourself?" He asked. "Well most of my friends are either in detention or off somewhere else and I kind of wanted some alone time." I smiled.

"Oh, I see. Sorry I must have disturbed you then." "No, not at all." "Well since you're here by yourself and I am here by myself can I sit with you and we can be lonely together?" Dmitri said with a lob side smile. "Why not." I said with a smile. We both sat down at the base of the tree and sat there talking for hours. I found out that Dimitri was in fact gay. He hadn't told his parents yet but most of his friends knew and they were very supportive of him. We spoke about school and our child hoods until the sun started to set. We both walked back up the castle. We stopped just outside the great hall. "Well this has been very fun. So, I thank you Rose for your company." He said and did a little bow and kissed my hand. "We should totally do it again some time and if you ever need someone to talk to my door is always open." I smiled and hugged him goodbye and headed into the great hall while he went down the corridor. As I entered the great hall, I was bombarded by two mischievous gingers. "Boys." I said before they could say anything. "Well Miss Holmes where have you been toady?" George asked with curiosity.

"Oh, you know sitting under trees and making friends. How was detention?" "I think we did well although we do have another one on Monday evening." "What how you guys didn't have that this morning?" "Oh yeah Filch didn't like the dung bomb that was set off." George stated. "Ugg you boys." "Anyway, are you excited for tomorrow?" Fred asked me. "I am not sure. I mean these tasks are meant to test you as a person and they are dangerous. I guess I am just worried for my friends." Fred put his arm around my shoulder. "Hey, I am sure everyone will be just fine in the challenge." I just nodded my head and smiled. We all sat down and had dinner. We all spoke about what the first task could be and who we thought would do the best. Finally it was time to head off to bed for that night to get a good night's rest so we would all be prepared for what tomorrow would bring.
