Part 24 - Make It Official

Jennie's POV

"What's with the smile Jen?"

I was interrupted with my train of thoughts when I heard Mina.

"Smile?" I tried to suppressed the smile but I failed.

She look at me suspiciously.

We're on our way to market, we're assigned to do the grocery for our dinner. Apparently that's the last task. Where's my Lili? Yup, MY, she's mine now, not that she's already aware of that but sooner or later I'll make it official. It made me smile again. Well going back, my Lili is assigned in documenting the last part event so she's out there somewhere taking pictures of whatever she pleases. I miss her already. I sighed.

"Hey, earth to Jennie Kim?" Mina called me again.

I look at her guiltily.

"I'm sorry, just thinking something." I said.

"Or someone perhaps?" She added grinning at me.

I gulped nervously.

"W-what do you mean?"

"Jen, I'm not blind, actually even you don't talk to each other the tension between the two of you is really intense. Specially these days." She answered wiggling her brows as if she's insinuating something.

"Yah! W-we didn't do something like that yet." I defended.

"Yet huh?" She teased again that made my cheeks hot.

"I-I mean..."

"You don't need to hide it to me Jen. I'm glad that Lisa found the right girl for her." She stated.

I look at her encouragingly as if wanting her to continue to talk.

"Like what I've already mentioned to you, Lisa is not the type of person who commits in a relationship and by saying that if she did it with you, or even just plan to do it with you, it means she's really serious." She added.

My heart flutter because of what Mina said.

I know and I'm aware that we don't know each other that deep yet but with all the things that we've been through so far, in that span of short time, I know Lisa is different from all the bad things I heard about her.

She's a caring and a loving person and that  realization is already enough assurance for me to risk and try this.

I smiled appreciatively to Mina.

"Thank you Minari, you're a great friend, just so you know." I said that made her giggled.

"Of course I'm the best." She boast that made me rolled my eyes.

Then we chuckled.

Lisa's POV

Where that kitten could be? I asked myself as I roam around the market.

I asked Ms. Choi's permission about following Jennie and Mina here, saying I'm all done with the documenting.

She easily agreed so I rushed here.

I stopped on my track when I saw a commotion in a secluded part of the market, men encircling I don't know what, its not really visible but I felt that there's something bad going on.

I hastily walk near them only to see Jennie and Mina being harassed. Those men holding their wrists, stopping them from going away.

I clenched my jaw and immediately run towards them.
