Part 15 - Respect

Jennie's POV

"Excuse me Ms. Manoban but ah, can I bother you for a while?" I heard someone approached Lisa. We're now done eating our lunch and about to rest a little. I mentally scoffed when I saw who the person is, Nancy. Everyone knows that she's head over heels with Lisa.

"Oh, yes of course, in one condition." Lisa said playfully. Tsk! Such a playgirl.

This Nancy girl gave her a seductive smile and I did my best not to react, I mean they're literally flirting in front of my face. Not that I'm affected or something but can they do that without someone's around? Its gross if you'll ask me.

"Anything for you Ms. Manoban." She answered and even winked at her.

Lisa chuckled before answering.

"That is if you'll just call me Lisa okay? We're not inside our office." She said casually.

"If that's what you want...Lisa." The Nancy girl said totally ignoring my presence.

"That's great to hear and oh by the way I'm not sure if you two already met but Nancy please meet Ms. Jennie Kim, and Princess she's Nancy, she's under finance as well so just like Kai you rarely see her." Lisa explained.

I'm about to extend my hand for a handshake but this Nancy girl speak again.

"Princess?" She inquired and this time I didn't stop myself from rolling my eyes. What's her problem? Really? She's getting in to my nerves. I'm just glad that both of them didn't saw my reaction, specially Lisa.

"Well yeah? I'm sorry, I called her Princess, it suits her so I can't help it." Lisa explained looking at me while smiling fondly that made my heart beats fast.

I didn't react and just raised my brow. She chuckled. When I look at Nancy she's giving me a death glare, I thought Lisa will notice that too but no. Aish.

"Well anyway, how can I help you Nancy?" Lisa inquired then all of a sudden the aura of this girl changed from being looking like a murderer to being sweet again.

"Ahm yes Lisa, I'm wondering if we can switch partners? I mean not me but its Kai's idea, he just told me that your partner..." Nancy looked at me for a second, yup just a second, then diverted her attention again to Lisa. "...is his girlfriend and ah, I think its more convenient to all of us to ah switch partners." She added.

"I thought Ms. Choi mentioned that girls and boys should not be partners?" Lisa inquired.

"Well yes but not in the activities, we can choose partners in games and activities but will go back to our respective partners at the end of the day." Nancy girl explained.

"I see, well..."

I'm about to interrupt but she continue speaking.

"...I'm sorry I can't, I just can't let this kitten roam around without me beside her. Well I don't care if she's in a relationship with that man but as long as I'm here, you're mine Princess." Lisa said her last sentence looking at me seriously. Again my heart. What's happening really?

"Well that is, if you want that as well." Lisa added.

"Well I think that's not what you want, right Jennie?" Nancy said on my behalf. She look at me intently as if saying "just say yes or else" kind of look.

"Actually that's what I want. I'm sorry, Kai already knows about it, that Lisa will be my partner the entire time we're here so yeah what can I say...oh! Get lost." I said bitchy.

"What the?!" Nancy exclaimed. "Is that the kind of girl you're calling Princess, Lisa?" She questioned Lisa.

I froze. Did I fvcked it up? I'm about to apologize to Lisa not to this bitch but I heard her chuckled.

"She's just joking Nanc, don't take it seriously. Right Princess? Quite territorial? Aren't we?" Lisa teased to lighten the mood and I don't have any choice but to nod.

"D-did you just called me Nanc?"

Lisa creased her brows confusedly.

"Well yeah? Don't you like it? I'm so-.." But before she even finish her sentence, Nancy girl shook her head and kissed Lisa's cheek, in front of me, take note of that. Right in front of my freaking face.

I gritted my teeth.

"No! No! I like it." She said blushing.

Lisa just scratched her nape.

"Why you're too adorable Lisa?" Nancy girl blurted, well I couldn't agree more, that's the very first statement she said that I agreed since she started talking to us, well to Lisa.

"I'm not." Lisa said.

I'm about to say "you are" when I felt an arm around my shoulder.

"Did you convinced them Nancy?"

When I look up its Kai. He's not looking at Nancy but me. Its too late to react when he leaned and peck my lips. Argh his lips are oily, maybe because of what he just ate.

I don't know when I acquired this habit but every time Kai's around I immediately look at Lisa's reaction and I'm not wrong, she's now gritting her teeth. Is she jealous? No that can't be, she said she's not into straight girls and even if she is, I can't like what I said, I'm ah straight and currently in a relationship.

"I'm sorry I didn't." Nancy girl said casually that brought me back to reality, thank goodness she's not the type who is whiney and all, she can easily understand things and situation like this.

"What? Why? Are you now that weak Manoban? You clearly rejecting this gorgeously hot girl who's offering hers..."

I didn't saw what really happened, just a moment ago Kai's arm is on my shoulder but now Lisa's gripping his collar.

I get it now, Lisa didn't let Kai finished what he's saying and gripped his collar. She's mad, and I must say that angry Lisa is scary and...well kinda hot. Well hot. Not kinda but hot. Just hot. Okay I'll stop now.

"Don't you dare disrespect a girl in front of me Mr. Kim. You don't have the right to say those kind of things on behalf of any girl, specially in front of your own girlfriend. No offense Princess." She said looking at me seriously then returned his gaze back to Kai. "...but I don't get it, why did you like this guy again huh?" Lisa scoffed. "I'm not a goody kind of person but at least I know the meaning of respect and values it...a lot." She removed her gripped to Kai harshly. "The next time I heard you speak nasty words against to any one, specially girls, I won't hesitate to punch you on the face without warning, take note of that." She added then walk away.

We fell silent for a good minute until I heard a sound of slap.

"User! Yes, I like Ms. Manoban but I won't do things using my body. I want her to like me as "me" not just because of my body." Nancy said angrily. She looked at me with sympathy then left as well.

"Babe I-.." I felt Kai's about to touch me but I stopped him by raising my hand.

"No! Just don't." I said, my mind is blank right now. 

I left him as well despite his constant calling.

I think I need to reevaluate things between us, of course without Lisa in the picture. Its between us. Just us or am I just convincing myself? Argh! I don't know anymore.
