Chapter 11

Stephen POV
It's been four hours and I don't mind. I didn't even notice. I don't even care as long as she is okay then she can sleep as much as she wants as she won't be able to in eight days. Her hair is starting to naturally curl, I had no idea it was naturally curly as her hair is always so straight or in plats or in a high pony tale, well that's what I think it's called anyway. I'm going to have to leave her at some point because I need to check her vitals on the computer and go and get the drip for her. But it's on the other side of the castle but to be fair I should be fine because she is fast asleep and nothing is going to happen anyway. So I should go now before she starts to wake up to make it easier.
Strangely enough it was easier and quicker to get my arm off from around her waist. Just to see her all snuggled up in the grey fur blanket was the best thing that has happened tonight.

August POV

30 minutes after Steven left...

Shit!
Why does my chest hurt so bad? Then I remember everything. Justin coming to keep my company and us messing around on the balcony and then me falling. But I don't remember much after that apart from the black sky hovering above me. It made me feel worse like it ramped my fear levels up a thousand notches and like I was destined to die at that very moment.
But I needed to get to the bathroom at the end of the corridor as my hoodie and joggers were in there from me changing yesterday and they are better than me in my pyjamas all day.

10 minutes later...

All I know is that I'm in so much pain I'm tempted to just lie down on the floor in a ball and cry from all the punch like feelings in my ribs. I mean I'm nearly there but normally it would take me about fifteen steps but this has taken what feels like forever and the pain just keeps getting worse. I don't know how much longer I will be able to be upright as I'm gripping the railing and it's the only thing keeping me up. But I can't take it anymore.

"STEPHEN!?" from now the pain just took over.

Stephen POV
I pounce out of the small study and store room and run as quickly as I can before I realise that she is right outside the door. And what I see breaks my heart.
August is lying on the floor in a ball crying her eyes out and pulling on her hair trying to ease the pain which won't work but she is hurting and that's when I realise that she is still in her pyjamas and was obviously trying to get some clothes from the bathroom she left there. FOR SATINS SAKE! why didn't I just wait that little bit longer and help her, now look. She is crying because of me. She needs to be elevated and she needs her penicillin she she can't feel as much of the pain. It must have stopped working when she started to wake up and when she stated to go to the bathroom but I don't want her to be alone whilst I get her medicine and she needs it now. So I guess this is my next best plan...

Darius POV
Lovely long silver hair with delicious cherry lips from their scented lipstick. Gloss lipstick. Their hands young and cared for with precision but their soul dark and mysterious with thief small heart no longer beating but still had love in their. Somehow.
"Hi Darius"
"Hi Si-"
"Darius get off your coffin NOW!"
"Well thanks for that you just made me lose concentration on something really important to me!"
"BU-"
"Shut up. I can hear her!"
"So Go!NOW"

Stephen POV
Darius rushed out of the room and went to help August whilst I ran down stairs and grabbed her penicillin and sprinted back upstairs. When I arrived upstairs August was already lied down on her bed and I gave her the penicillin whilst Darius comforted her. After about an hour of trying not to get upset in front of her and keeping her calm she gave up and must have been exhausted as she fell straight asleep. Again.

"What Happened?"

"Darius. I know you've looked in my mind already."
