A/n - Warning this is an extremely long chapter I'm sorry but I have already shortened it and this is still really long so... yeah.


Back to Blake castle - August POV

Its only been a night, well not even a night so I don't know why I'm getting so worked up because he said he would be a while, and its not like he's my boyfriend or anything.

"Well you want him to be."
"You reading my private thoughts is not helpful!"
"Well I cant exactly help it when my sis has a crush on someone and yet she wont admit to herself she likes him."
"I don't like him like that, he has taken great care of me and we have become close friends."
"Yeah close friends. You didn't cuddle him or anything pretending to be asleep just to get a cuddle then, the best part, you actually fell asleep."
"That is not true I didn't ask for a cuddle I fell asleep and he was there when I opened my eyes then I fell asleep again, I cant help falling asleep."
"Yeah, Okay. But what would you do if I told you that I read Stephens mind and I know exactly how he feels about you."

WHY HAS THIS NEVER OCCURRED TO ME!

"I don't care what he thinks because I know he only thinks of me as a friend."
"Yeah, I'm sure he does."
"What! You cant just say that to me and not tell me how he actually feels!"
" I thought you didn't care."
"I-"

Suddenly a small creak came from my door which shut my sentence off.
A big brown leather boot came through the door and as the whole body came through the door Darius jumped up and stood directly in front of me making my view of the vampire that just entered my room blocked.

"What do you want?!"
"I want to apologize to her."
"A bit late for that."
"It was an accident, I'm was only just getting used to my strength when we danced."
"Then you should have stayed away."
"How could I. She was my best friend."

It was Justin.


Lock castle - Stephen POV

Okay now everyone has gone so I can check my phone...

I placed my fingers on the correct numbers to unlock my phone and I glided my index finger over to the WhatsApp App on my home screen and opened it and to my surprise there were six messages all from August waiting to be opened. I guess she misses me more than I thought. I laughed to myself, she never manages to surprise me.
I opened her messages...

'how's it going?'
'When will you get back?'
'I'm trying to text you without Darius noticing its really hard LOL..'
'How long do these things normally last?'
'Come back ASAP I cant be with Darius much longer.'
'I'm serious, come back ASAP x'

So I replied...

'The meeting is done and it wasn't to long so Darius must be teasing you quite a bit, I Told you LOL. I'm on my way back now so you wont have to put up with him much longer. Also I was going to tell you when I saw you but, I think you are fine to walk around now like normal so I officially discharge you. See you in 30 minutes. x'

But in reality I was already at the main oak doors at the Blakes castle. I always amaze myself when it takes less than minutes to get some where that is over 20 miles away, being a vampire has some perks.

I'm already outside her door and I hear laughter but its not just August and Darius in there, I can smell another vampire.

Its Him.

I launched through the door and threw my bag on the floor and picked up Justin by the collar whilst slamming him into the wall not enough to damage Augusts walls but enough to hurt him.

"STEPHEN LET ME GO!"
"No, why are you here, I told you to stay away from her or I would rip you apart!" My teeth were on show and I could feel my eyes change colour to a lighter red.
"I'm here to apologize and that's what I did she forgave me so for fuck sake put me down!"
Darius was holding my right arm lightly.
"Put him down Stephen, listen to me and put him down."
I let my hands go and Justin dropped to the floor holding his throat which was now slightly red.
"A doctor of all things is what you are, I wouldn't trust you with my life let alone Augusts. You nearly killed me with your bare hands so how can the hands of a murder be hands of someone who saves lives."
I was about to grab him again but suddenly I felt Augusts arms around my back hugging me tightly. I turned around and hugged her back, she just had a shower as I could smell strawberries on her long brown hair. She looked up at me and said

"I'm fine, Look at me, I'm fine."
I held her face in my hands checking if she was okay.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah I'm fine." She smiled at me but motioned her eyes to Justin telling me she wanted me to turn around so I loosened my arms and she turned around but I tightened my arms around her stomach so I still had hold of her in my arms.

"Justin, we are friends now but you have no right to talk to him like that."
"He's not your boyfriend August."

We all went quiet. I thought she was going to deny away but she looked at me and smiled so I smiled back and Darius was smiling like a cat. I don't know what this means but Justin said something and he left.

I guess they are friends again so there is no problem there anymore, but I still don't trust him.
