(5) The Next Morning

Bucky was sleeping and snoring hard as he laid on Madison's back. Yelena never told him that when he drinks or he is very tired from football he snores.

KNOCK KNOCK

"James Madison time to get up. We have to head back to Macon soon." James said as he and Mitch stood outside the door.

Bucky started to stir. "Okay dad.." he said then he started to fully wake up.

He realized he was stuck to someone as moved. With wide eyes he realized that someone was Madison.

"Mads wake up..oh god wake up..what the hell happened?" He said as he saw that they were both naked in his bed.

She sat up rubbing her temples. "What the fuck? Why am I naked in your bed? Did we have sex?" She said

"Clearly.." he said when he saw the bite marks on her.

"Oh my god...oh my god.." she said as she pulled the sheet off the bed.

"Mads calm down. What was the last thing you remember?" He said

"Hiding under the table with you drinking tequila." She said as she frantically found clothes.

"Madison please calm down..you arent helping my nerves right now." He said as he pulled on his boxers.

"Not helping you! We had sex James Im not even sexually attractive to you. Why? And how am I suppose to tell my boyfriend?" She said

"Im not worried about Linc..Im more concerned about my girlfriend you know your best friend?" He said

She went into the bathroom and quickly got dressed.  Tears began to fall Bucky came in when he heard her.

"Mads Im sorry..Im sorry I yelled. But you freaking out isnt helping me." He said

"How are you so calm right now! We had sex last night!." She said

"Im not fucking stupid I know that we had sex. But standing here freaking out about it and yelling at me isnt going to change it. We just need to act like everything is fine and be normal. Nobody has to know this happened." He said

"But it did." She said

"Madison..Yelena will kill us both if she finds out. I can handle Linc but not my girl. I cant lose her I love her..and I know you love Linc and you love Lena..so just keep this between us." He said

She bit her lip. "You do snore by the way." She said as she walked out.

"Sorry.." he said as he followed her out.

They started to clean and pack their stuff. She started to freak out again.

"Buck..have you picked up condoms?" She said

"No..I didnt bring any. You are on birth control right? Cause Im not great at pulling out.." he said

She bit her lip as she began to panic. "Mads? Please tell me that you are on it.." he said as he walked over to her.

"I told you they dont know. I..oh god..what if. You have a very fertile family James.." she whispered as her anxiety got the better of her.

Bucky grabbed her. "Shh..its gonna be okay. Maybe we will get lucky and you wont get pregnant. Just breathe please..you gotta act like everything is okay Mads okay." He said

She swallowed hard. "Okay.." she said

She zipped her bags and they left their room. Once Bucky was in his parents car he put his headphones in. James looked back at him in the rearview mirror.

"Winnie get his attention. Something is wrong." James said

Winnie texted his phone. "Headphones out dad wants you.."

He didnt even feel the buzz he was so spaced out. James looked back at him again. "He's zoned out. I will talk to him when we get home." He said

In the Baker car Madison had her headphones in as she laid in the very back seat. She was twirling her hair as she laid there hoping she could lie to Linc.

When they made it home. James came downstairs to Bucky's room.

"Son you alright?" He said

"Yeah. Its just been a long weekend Im fried." He said

"Okay. Well you know you can talk to me son." James said

"Yeah I know." He said

James left to head back upstairs. Bucky laid down and let out a sigh.

"God what the hell happened last night?" He thought to himself before falling asleep.

Madison was already sound asleep in her bed. The next morning Bucky realized Madison left a hickey on him. "Shit.." he said

He wore his football sweats to school even though football season was over. Madison had on a pair of PINK nation sweats when he came into her kitchen.

When no one was looking. "Breathe..we can do this. And thanks for the hickey." He whispered in her ear.

She pulled him into the laundry room and he showed her. "Sorry.." she said then left for the bus.

Bucky wasn't to far behind her down the sidewalk.
