(10) Baby Shower

It was the weekend of Mother's day. They were all in Atlanta for Mother's day as well as Madison's baby shower. The grandmothers and mothers had it all set up at Lucille and James Sr's backyard.

All friends and family came into Atlanta for the occasion. Alice bought Madison a dress for the occasion. When they all arrived they had brunch and mimosas except for the ones that were under 21. After everyone ate their food they did gifts.

The first gift Madison and Bucky opened was from the Maximoffs. It was a set of pink and blue bottles.

Dr Elena Maximoff "Those are the best for breast feeding mamas. And I got them in colors so if one is sick you dont accidentally grab the wrong one." She said

"Thanks Elena." Bucky said as he put them in the bag.

Alice handed them their next gift which was from the Bartons. They pulled out a rolled up blanket each. Bucky unrolled the blue one that had footballs all over it.

In the middle of it had "BLJB" in monogrammed lettering. "I made sure it was as boyish as we could." Hudson said

"Yeah hence the footballs." Edith said

"I said add footballs." Clint said

"Thanks." Bucky said

Madison unrolled and unfolded the pink one that had "SEJB" in the middle. It had fairies and crowns all over it.

"Its perfect. Thank you Edith and Hudson." Madison said

The next gift they opened was from Steve's parents and him. They got them diapers wipes and a diaper genie. The next gift was from Carol's parents who got them a lullaby machine.

They continued to open more clothes and shoes for each twin. Kori's parents got them a bunch of things to organize the closet. Once they opened all the little gifts.

It was time to open the bigger stuff. James carried out a big box and sat it in front of them. "This is from your grandparents James." James said

"Okay.." Bucky said

They ripped off the wrapping paper. When they got it all off they saw the picture. It was twin crib.

"Whoa..this is beautiful Lucy." Madison said

"I thought it was better then buying two cribs." Lucille said

"Where was that when we had the boys?" James said to Winnie.

"Or the girls." She added

Bucky smirked. "We have the mattresses inside for it." James Sr. Said

"Thanks grandma and grandpa." Bucky said

Bucky moved the box since Mitch brought out another big box with James behind him with one. They both opened the boxes it was the same thing.

"Since you two have your own rooms. You both get your own pack and plays. They are for twins so you dont have to worry." Lucille said

"Thanks grandma." Bucky said

"And that way when you all do come up here for holidays. You have one to pack." Susan said

"Yeah" Madison said

The next box Mitch brought over he said "This is from your grandparents Madison."

They ripped off the paper to reveal a double jogger stroller with car seats. "Thank you grandma.." Madison said

"For now you all only need one set of car seats." Susan said

"Yeah." Bucky said

Alice laid two wrapped gifts on the box. "These are from us." Alice said

They each opened them to reveal nursey signs with their names on them. "We couldnt fit their whole names so picked just one middle name each." Alice said

"Thanks mom they are perfect." Madison said

Winnie laid two gifts in front of them. They each opened them to reveal two diaper bags.

"If there is one thing I have learned from having two sets of twins. Two diaper bags are better then one. So there is a blue one for Bodie and a floral one for Sutton." Winnie said

"Thank you Winnie. Its beautiful." Madison said as she looked over the diaper bags.

The next day both Mitch and James loaded down their truck beds with everything from the baby shower. When they returned home Natasha sent her family's gift to them with Steve. It was a bottle warmer and bottle cleaning supplies. The Pyms and Langes sent more diapers and wipes.
