(4) The Night of The Ball

After spending the last three days in Atlanta. Between all the brunches and dinner parties. Bucky and Madison were done with the weekend.

It was Sunday afternoon when Madison came in with her hair done. Bucky was laying all his stuff out.

"Do you need the bathroom?" She said

Just as she was about to leave the bathroom. He stopped her and shut the door and opened the balcony door.

He lit up the joint he made for her and then his. Once they were done she put some visine in and they left. James and Mitchell were waiting for their families in the lobby since James Sr was using their hotel's ballroom.

The Barnes clan and Baker's clan all followed Mitch and James into the ballroom. A live band was playing on the stage. People were mingling and dancing.

As the night wore on Bucky and Madison were getting bored and antsy. At one point Bucky couldn't find Madison after he snuck off with a bottle of tequila behind the bar. He finally found her hiding under their table.

He sat beside her and opened the bottle. "Drink?" He said after he took one.

"Sure.." she said as she took the bottle.

She took a big sip of the tequila. They stayed under the table as they shared the tequila bottle. Once they finished it he looked over at her.

Bucky snuck another bottle of tequila and took it to their room. Once he saw his dad and Mitch leave their room. When they walked back in together.

"Where have you two been?" James said
